The SEED – January 2025
January 2025
“Jesus traveled about from one town and village to another, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom of God.” – Luke 8:1

The Nyang’atom Team reached 15 villages in December 2024. The people are very eager to hear the Word of God and readily accept His message of salvation. Screening The Jesus Film, followed by outreach using the DMM Bible Kits (see Bible Kits information at the end of this newsletter) make it simple to share God’s message of hope with the Nyang’atom people. Fifty-two people accepted Christ, and 12 were baptized during the outreach!
The team encouraged the new believers to join an established Lighthouse where they can grow in their faith. There are 75 trained Champions in 15 villages who are teaching 750 believers how to become disciples! The team plans to return to these villages every two weeks to provide encouragement and more training.
The Team is very grateful for these Bible Kit tools provided by donors. They distributed 15 DMM Bookmarks and are requesting more kits. Share plans to provide the team with motorbikes and more Bible Kits soon to accelerate their outreach efforts. They have identified 45 new villages to be reached with the Gospel message in 2025.

In December, our missionary team in Toposa shared the Gospel in 15 previously reached villages and 23 new villages. A total of 46 people put their faith in Christ as Savior. The use of motorbikes has allowed the team to reach many more villages each month. The DMM methodology has been very effective; it is more relational and simpler, enabling positive response. The Champions remain positive and committed, owning the mission and accelerating outreach. There are currently 156 trained Champions in Toposa throughout 98 villages. They are teaching 1,248 believers how to make disciples of others! The Team plans to plant at least 3 churches in each of the 4 clusters of Toposaland in 2025!
Pray with the team as they look for a committed Champion to replace Missionary Amos Erot who passed away in 2024. Pray also that the number of Champions will continue to increase, many Lighthouses will be birthed, and the Glory of the Lord would saturate Toposaland through His Word! Share will provide the team with more Bible Kits soon.

From December 9-13th, the Turkana team participated in outreach and planting a church in Lukondongo Village, Kachoda Zone. A total of 68 believers promised to attend church regularly. Ten new believers committed to being trained as Champions and start their own Lighthouses. Ten Audio Bibles and 10 DMM Bookmarks were distributed to the proposed Champions.
The team also ministered in two nearby villages: Narikirikodapal and Napetain. The Jesus Film was screened in each of the villages, with a total of 283 people in attendance. Viewers heard the message of God’s love and sacrifice through His Son, Jesus Christ. A total of 79 people gave their lives to Christ! In addition, the team visited 56 people in their homesteads where an additional 23 people heard the Gospel message and accepted Christ. A total of 39 new believers were baptized during the outreach!
There are 9 Motivators/Evangelists in Kachoda Zone. They have planted 25 churches in the past 17 years and are shepherding believers. Champions are leading 53 Lighthouses and teaching 317 disciples how to share their faith stories with others. An additional 69 people accepted Christ in December through evangelistic outreaches by Lighthouses. Share will provide Bible Kits to 29 Champions soon.
There are 7 unreached villages remaining in Kachoda Zone, that the team plans to reach over the next two years.
