We are committed to developing a community of believers who will continue to advance the Gospel of Christ in the future as they grow in their faith. There is no better place to start that process than with children.

Jesus told His disciples to “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” The faith of a child is a true reflection of what the Kingdom of God is like (Matt. 19:14).

Planting the seed of faith in our Turkana children ensures the felt and life-changing presence of Christ in every village. It creates a community of present and future Bible lovers and worshippers of God who also become positive, responsible, productive, and friendly citizens in every community. They begin to be the “salt” and “light” (Matt. 5: 13-16) of the earth at an early age.

It all begins with a sound curriculum for teaching Sunday School teachers. SHARE’s curriculum includes multiple lessons, beginning with qualifications of a good teacher to the importance of children to God. So far, SHARE has trained and commissioned over 300 Sunday School teachers throughout Turkanaland.

There are more than 15,000 children attending Sunday School Classes in the SHARE-planted churches throughout Turkanaland! SHARE’s ministry to children in every church we plant will ascertain continued growth and spread of Christian faith for generations to come – until Christ’s return.

AS THESE CHILDREN GROW, WE CAN SHOW THEM THAT GOD LOVES THEM AND IMPACT FUTURE GENERATIONS!

The children of Lomopus Village. The moment I stepped onto this land my heart broke and burst open all at once. I never anticipated how the Lord would open me up to receive these people, but I became overwhelmed by them as I watched their joy and beauty all around me.
