The primary purpose of SHARE’s Vision Trips is to provide the participant with a unique, first-hand experience through exposure to a cross-cultural context. The participant witnesses what God has done through SHARE over the years, hears from some of our indigenous missionaries themselves, visits some of the remote villages reached with the Gospel, engages in limited ministry opportunities, and worships with fellow Turkana believers.
The trip also serves to confirm the participant’s calling to use his/her God-given talents, passions, and resources towards expansion of God’s Kingdom, both at home and beyond. It’s intended that the experience would strengthen the relationship between the participant and the Lord in the hope that the participant would commit to engage more time, talents, and treasure in Missions long-term wherever the Lord may lead.
