March 2025

“Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.”
– Revelation 7:10

In February, the Nyangatom Missionary Team shared the Gospel in 15 villages with 47 people accepting the saving grace of Jesus. There was an abundance of water, so 4 believers were baptized! There are 75 trained Champions discipling 750 disciples in 15 villages.

The Share Team from Lodwar traversed the rain soaked roads to visit with the Nyang’atom Missionaries and deliver their new motorbikes. Their vehicles got stuck a few times along the way to Ethiopia, but the team persevered and got through to Kangaten Village. However, they were not able to do their planned outreach in Nangor-angikito Village due to the treacherous roads. Instead, they stayed in Kangaten Village for 3 days reviewing the 3-Walks, 3-Circles, and 3-Stones Curriculum with the local missionaries. The Nyang’atom Missionaries will travel to Nangor-angikito Village and plant a church once the roads have become passable again. They were overjoyed to receive their new motorbikes and are looking forward to reach even more villages with the Gospel.

In February, the Toposa Missionary Team visited 30 new villages and revisited an 47 villages! A total of 106 people accepted Christ as Savior. There hasn’t been rainfall, so the team was unable to do baptisms. They have observed that the indigenous Champions are taking their responsibility of sharing the Good News very seriously.

There are now 156 Champions in 98 villages discipling 1,248 disciples! The team is encouraging the Lighthouses that are in close proximity to come together weekly to form a cluster, which will eventually become a church. They plan to establish several churches in Toposaland this year.

Three of the active indigenous Champions – Elia Lopir, John Nalingan, and Elizabeth Lochebe – have been selected to become evangelists and join the Toposa Team, replacing Amos Erot Ekaale who passed away in 2024. These three officially joined the team in the field this month. Pray for them to be effective in the field work as they continue to reach their fellow Toposa tribe members with the Gospel.

At the end of February, Mary Esinyen (Next-Gen Coordinator) and Jackson Erus (Frontier Outreach Coordinator) traveled to Kapoeta Town in Toposaland for the purpose of training Missionaries and Champions how to effectively share the Gospel with children using the contextualized Children’s DMM Curriculum. The training was held at Salt & Light Church in Kapoeta Town with 17 Missionaries and 58 Champions in attendance. There were also representatives present from each of the four cluster where churches will be planted. Their goal is to establish Sunday Schools in the villages where the team plants churches. Pray for these Missionaries and Champions that they would remain diligent in teaching the Gospel to the children.

The Share Team returned to Lokori Zone the last week of February to hold evangelist services in three villages and plant a church. In the four days of outreach, the Gospel was shared with nearly 175 people each day in Nataparkagongon Village. Between screenings of The Jesus Film and homestead-to-homestead visits, 55 people heard the Gospel in Lokitoelio Village, 84 in Kangikalalio Village, and 63 in Ebei-angimamki Village. A total of 136 people accepted the gift of salvation and placed their faith in Christ! No one was baptized due to a lack of water.

A new church was planted in Nataparkagongon Village with 40 adults and 62 children declaring this their church home. This church will be under the leadership of Champion David Rupale, who will be shepherded by Motivator Joseph Eyanae. Ten new Champions were also identified and will be trained how to make disciples of others and form their own Lighthouses. Each proposed Champion was gifted an Audio Bible.

There are currently 110 active Lighthouses in the Zone each with their own trained Champion. These Champions are discipling 565 disciples. The number of disciples has been increasing because believers are listening to their Audio Bibles in their own language, learning truths about God, and sharing it with others.

There are now 24 Share-established churches in Lokori Zone, which are ministered to by seven Motivators. An additional 25 people accepted Christ in Lokori Zone in February, through the ministry of the local church.

COVENANT CHURCH-WAPET SENDING CENTER
(Est. January 2023)

Sammy Lokir teaches approximately 50 pupils at the Covenant Church-Wapet Sending Center, 5 days a week. Now that the center has been established for over 2 years, the pupils are excelling in their education.
Teaching them how to be faithful followers of Jesus remains a priority. In February, the class learned about obeying their parents. They memorized Ephesians 6:1-3. They are learning how to pray, sing praises to God, and share their testimonies.
Church services are held in the building on Sundays, lead by Motivator James Maisa, with about 60 members in attendance. The youth choir meets for practice on Saturdays.
The children are grateful for the desks that were delivered to the center in February. Pray for provision of clean water and food at the center and that the children would gain the confidence to share their testimonies with their family and friends outside of the classroom.

KIRCHNER-LOKIDING SENDING CENTER
(Est. December 2023)

Ekadeli Frederick teaches approximately 76 pupils at the Kirchner-Lokiding Sending Center, 5 days a week. The pupils continue to advance in their education – reading and math. More importantly, they are learning the ‘3-Walk’ Methodology for sharing their personal testimonies. They enjoy praying and singing praises to God. The class was excited to receive their new desks in February!

Upholding and Accelerating Spread of the Inspired Word

It’s Inspired by the Holy Spirit! And it’s therefore Infallible, Inerrant, and Life-Giving. It’s the Written/Spoken Word of God that we must uphold and share with all mankind. And Jesus Incarnate is that Living Word. It’s Him alone that:

shall reign where’er the sun doth its successive journey’s run; His Kingdom stretch from shore to shore, till moons shall wax and wane no more”! (Isaac Watts, 1719)!

And all you need to do is set foot in Turkanaland (Kenya), Toposaland (South Sudan), and Nyang’atomland (Ethiopia) (as many of us have) to realize that, indeed, the sun “doth its successive journeys run” there in a most pronounced, brightest, hottest, and intense manner. And it’s there that now the Son is making His imprint in the most amazing ways as Share Missionaries, Evangelists, Champions, and Disciples trek to more and more hidden villages across dangerous terrains to find other men, women, and children like themselves and shine the Son of God there. And the results continue to be astronomical each month as many souls receive, embrace, and are birthed into New Life in Christ upon hearing the Living Word for the very first time.

That’s the reason for the Bible Kits Initiative. God is raising more and more servants – the “beautiful feet” that Share has been training and commissioning continually – to take “Glad Tidings”, the Living Word, the Son of God – by way of Audio and Hard-Copy Bibles – as far as the sun stretches. God is now building His Church, His Kingdom in the hearts of thousands of people, raising a Holy Priesthood, His Kingdom, and the “gates of hell will not prevail against it” (Matt. 16:18).

With God’s help through us all, Share is committed to saturate that whole region with the Word of God, a region where the “moons” have been waxing for centuries! Will you join us in upholding and supplying as many Bible Kits to the servants of God so deployment of the Word can accelerate and reach as far and as fast as the hunger and thirst for the Truth stretches – from sand dune to sand dune in our region of ministry “till the moons wax and wane no more”.

As the Share Missionaries, Evangelists, Champions, and Disciples have been unstoppable in spreading the Gospel, let us be unstoppable in providing them with the Bible Kits to continue doing so. The thermometer below indicates where we stand right now for Year 2025. Let’s join together and surpass the target number even sooner! Let’s uphold and accelerate the spread of the Inspired Word. To God be all the Glory! Hallelujah!

Serving the King of kings with you,

Sammy
