Mini-STORMs are brief, Short-Term Outreach & Relief Mission trips to remote villages by the SHARE Team of Staff and indigenous missionaries. These are conducted on a monthly basis. A Mini-STORM trip can take place in one or more reached or unreached villages and consists of homestead-to-homestead evangelism, screening The Jesus Film, holding open-air meetings and worship services, baptizing, teaching believers using the DMM methodology in gender/age appropriate groups, and distributing foodstuffs.

If a village where Mini-STORM is taking place has not yet been reached with the Gospel, a survey is done by the SHARE Team about a week prior to introduce themselves to and request permission from the elders.

Since 1997, SHARE has reached over 900 Turkana villages through this process, and witnessed over 100,000 accept Christ as Savior! There are less than 100 remaining unreached Turkana villages that SHARE has identified and plans to reach within the next couple of years. Watch the video above to learn more about how we reach an unreached village and plant a church.

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age
– Matt. 28:19-20.

“And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come”
– Matt. 24:14.
