GOD IS USING SHARE INTERNATIONAL TO REACH THOSE WHO HAVE NOT HAD THE CHANCE TO KNOW HIM IN THE REMOTE VILLAGES OF TURKANA, KENYA AND TOPOSA, SOUTH SUDAN!

“SHARING THE GOSPEL AND OUR VERY LIVES”
– 1 THESSALONIANS 2:8

OUR VISION & MISSION

Our VISION is to see the Gospel of Jesus Christ proclaimed among the Turkana people of Kenya and the Toposa people of South Sudan; see His disciples growing deeper in their faith and making disciples of others.

Our MISSION is to equip and deploy indigenous missionaries who share the Gospel and establish disciple-making, holistic congregations throughout Turkanaland and Toposaland.

DISCIPLE-MAKING MOVEMENT

Since SHARE launched the Disciple-Making Movement (DMM) in January 2020, 489 DMM cell-groups, called “Lighthouses”, have been established throughout Turkanaland, and the number of disciples is multiplying rapidly. Learn more about the Disciple-Making Movement that SHARE is implementing to reach the remaining unreached villages with the Gospel in the shortest time possible.

TOPOSA OUTREACH

In April 2021, SHARE commissioned 15 missionaries (10 SHARE-trained, Turkana missionaries and 5 Toposa-tribe evangelists) whom God has clearly called to take the Gospel to Toposa, South Sudan. The Missionary Team is currently compassing a “GAP Analysis” to determine how many villages have not been reached with the Gospel and do not have a Christian church nearby.

PARTNER WITH US

We invite you to join us, so together we can continue to accomplish the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19,20) and witness the entire 1.5M Turkana population and 0.5M Toposa population come to know the Lord through the Gospel with believers becoming Christ’s disciples who intentionally make disciples of others.

TURKANA CULTURE

The Turkana people live in the northwestern region of Kenya, Africa. They are the second largest pastoralist tribe in Kenya after the Maasai. They speak the Turkana language, which is Nilotic and similar to the Maasai language. The Turkana have maintained their undiluted traditional way of life. They are distinguished as being great survivors, living in harsh and inhospitable terrain.

SEE FOR YOURSELF!

Since 1997, over 550 people have participated in ministering to the Turkana people through our annual Short-Term Outreach & Relief Mission (STORM) trips. See more information about our annual STORM trips, and explore the amazing opportunity to GO!
