Lomidat Village is 215 kms northwest of Lodwar. It has a population of 1,500 people who are mostly pastoralist. The topography of this village is featured by a chain of mountains from all sides and low valley in the middle. The community around the village is highly illiterate, hence the need for an Adult Literacy Class. The area is characterized with cattle rustling. Another minor economic activity is charcoal burning.

Phanuel states, My current Lighthouses need learning materials like DMM bookmarks, Audio Bibles, and hard-copy of Bibles to use during the Bible discovery sessions and sharing of the gospel to the lost. DMM is becoming the best method for sharing the Good News and expanding God’s Kingdom in Turkanaland. We praise God for this provision! We request prayers for a positive response to the Gospel of Christ that will be shared at the 3 unreached targeted villages before the end of this year.” – August 2020
