    2023

    November

    In November, Ekidor revisited 9 villages this month: Chumalem, Nalere, Natong Tong, Natipir, Nabeker Minit, Nasigirait, Napir, Kakwar Eles, and Nalemsekon Villages. He is encouraging them to attend a Lighthouse. The villagers are very welcoming and eager to hear the Gospel message. 53 people accepted Christ when he shared the Gospel message. He is working at empowering the trained Champions to establish more Lighthouses. 15 Lighthouses groups have been established in 9 villages and they are discipling 120 disciples.  He distributed 19 Audio Bibles, 1 hard-copy Bible, and 13 DMM Bookmarks. Ekidor asks for prayer that the Champions will remain strong in their faith and that they would grow and become evangelists in their own villages. He also asks that you pray with him for peace to prevail among the leadership in Sudan, especially in the northern part of the country.

    October

    In October, Ekidor revisited 9 villages this month: Chumalem, Nalere, Natong Tong, Natipir, Nabeker Minit, Nasigirait, Napir, Kakwar Eles, and Nalemsekon Villages. He is encouraging them to attend a Lighthouse. He also visited 5 new villages: Natong tong, Natipir, Nebeker minit, Nasigirait and Kakewareles villages. 17 people geve their lives to Christ this month and were baptized! He is encouraging them listen to their Audio Bibles and discuss what they hear, and to watch screenings of The Jesus Film in nearby villages. He is also encouraging them to attend a Lighthouse. He is working at empowering the trained Champions to establish more Lighthouses. 6 Lighthouses groups have been established and they are discipling 38 disciples.  Ekidor asks for prayer that the Champions will remain strong in their faith and that they would grow and become evangelists in their own villages. He also asks that you pray with him for the Team’s safety as the rains have made the roads treacherous for travel and for peace in the region.

The villagers are becoming more welcoming and peaceful in the new villages. 46 people geve their lives to Christ this month and were baptized! He is encouraging them listen to their Audio Bibles and discuss what they hear, and to watch screenings of The Jesus Film in nearby villages. He is also encouraging them to attend a Lighthouse. Ekidor is training 6 believers how to become Champions. 6 Lighthouses groups have been established in 6 villages with 38 disciples attending. Ekidor asks for prayer for the Team’s safety as the rains have made the roads treacherous for travel and that peace would prevail in the leadership of Sudan.

    June

    In June, Ekidor revisited Chumalem, Nalere and Nalemsekon Villages. He also visited 5 new villages: Natong tong, Nasigiriat, Natipir, Kakewareles, and Nabeker villages. 11 people geve their lives to Christ this month. He is encouraging them listen to their Audio Bibles and watch screenings of The Jesus Film in nearby villages. He plans to spend more time following up with them in their walk with Christ. Ekidor is training 6 believers how to become Champions. They are eager to learn more and share the Gospel message with others. 6 Lighthouses groups have been established in 6 villages. He was able to distribute 5 Audio Bibles. Ekidor asks for prayer that the Champions will remain strong in their faith and that they would grow and become evangelists in their own villages. He also asks that you pray with him for the Team’s safety as the rains have made the roads treacherous for travel.

    May

    In May, Ekidor revisited Chumalem and Nalemsekon villages. He also visited 3 new villages: Tong tong, Natipir, and Nabeker. 2 people were saved. Ekidor spends time following up with new believers, listening to the Audio Bible and discussing the lessons. He is encouraging them to listen on their own and discuss what they hear. He is encouraging them to join a Lighthouse – and 5 Lighthouses have now been formed! Ekidor is still training 6 believers how to become Champions. He was able to distribute 3 Audio Bibles. He asks that you pray with him for the insecurity in the area between the Toposa and Kenyan border and also safety against an outbreak of measles in one of the villages. He is encouraged by the thirst for God that he sees among the Toposa people and the dedication of the Champions to begin sharing their faith stories with others.

    April

    In April, Ekidor revisited Chumalem, Nalemsekon and Natipir Villages and 12 people were saved. He also visited a new village, Tong Tong Village. Ekidor spends time following up with new believers, listening to the Audio Bible and discussing the lessons. He is encouraging them to listen on their own and discuss what they hear. He is encouraging them to join a Lighthouse – and 4 Lighthouses have now been formed! Ekidor is still training 6 believers how to become Champions. He asks that you pray with him for the insecurity in the area between the Toposa and Kenyan border. He is encouraged by the thirst for God that he sees among the Toposa people and the dedication of the Champions to begin sharing their faith stories with others.

    March

    In March, Ekidor revisited Chumalem, Nalemsekon, Naleere and Natipir Villages and 8 people were saved. Ekidor spends time following up with new believers, listening to the Audio Bible and discussing the lessons. They are very eager to learn and grow in the spiritual walk. He is encouraging them to listen on their own and discuss what they hear. He is encouraging them to join a Lighthouse once they are in place. Ekidor is still training 6 believers how to become Champions. He is thankful for the rains but asks that you pray with him for everyones health as malaria and cholera increase during the rainy seasons. He also asks for prayer as he travels as the roads become treacherous in the rain. He is encouraged by the thirst for God that he sees among the Toposa people and for the Champions who are eager to learn more.

    February

    In February, Ekidor returned to Toposa after being gone for about 1 month. He revisited Chumalem, Nalemsekon and Natipir Villages and 2 people were saved. Ekidor spends time following up with new believers, listening to the Audio Bible and discussing the lessons. He is encouraging them to listen on their own and discuss what they hear. He is encouraging them to join a Lighthouse once they are in place. Ekidor is still training 6 believers how to become Champions. He asks that you pray with him for the insecurity in the area between the Toposa and Kenyan border. He is encouraged by the thirst for God that he sees among the Toposa people.

    November

Ekidor spends time with new believers listening to the Audio Bible and discussing the lessons. Ekidor is still training 6 believers how to become Champions. He was able to hand out 17 Audio Bibles and 10 DMM Bookmarks this month. He is grateful for the rains they have been receiving.

    October

    In October, Ekidor revisited Chumalem and Nalere Villages. 3 people were saved this month and were baptized. Ekidor spends time with new believers listening to the Audio Bible and discussing the lessons. Ekidor is still training 5 believers how to become Champions. He is grateful for the rains they have been receiving.

    September

    In September, Ekidor revisited Chumalem and Nalere Villages. 10 people were saved this month, and 17 believers were baptized! Ekidor spends time with new believers listening to the Audio Bible and discussing the lessons. He distributed 20 more Audio Bibles this month. Ekidor is still training 5 believers how to become Champions. He is grateful for the rains they have been receiving.

    August

    In August, Ekidor continued sharing the Gospel in Nalemusekon Village. 5 people were saved this month. Ekidor spends time with new believers listening to the Audio Bible and discussing the lessons. He is still training 5 believers how to become Champions. He looks forward to establishing Lighthouses. They are grateful for the rains they have been receiving.

    June

    In June, Ekidor shared the Gospel in 3 Toposa villages – Nalere, Chumalem and Nalemusekon. 3 people were saved this month. Ekidor plans to revisit these villages weekly. He is training 5 believers how to become Champions. He looks forward to establishing Lighthouses and sharing more of God’s story. They are grateful for the rains they have been receiving.

    May

    In May, Ekidor shared the Gospel in 3 Toposa villages – Napusitirae, Moru angiilimo, and Nalemusekon. Reception of the Gospel has been good, and many have a desire to draw closer to God. 6 people were saved this month. Ekidor plans to meet with these new believers weekly. He prays for relief from hunger for the Toposa people, clean drinking water, and a medical facility to be established nearby. He is grateful for the rain that has come this month.

    April

    In April, Ekidor continued sharing the Gospel and developing relationships in 2 Toposa villages – Chumalem and Nalemusekon. The Audio Bibles and Jesus Film projectors have been very helpful. 6 people accepted Christ as Savior this month. Ekidor is training 3 people how to be Champions; they should be forming Lighthouses soon. He prays for relief from hunger for the Toposa people, clean drinking water, and a medical facility to be established nearby.

    2021

    September

    In September, Ekidor and the rest of the Toposa Missionary Team traveled back to Kenya to attend driving lessons and receive their new motorbikes. The Team will head back to Toposa soon to continue with surveying, evangelizing, and establishing their mission base. Ekidor has handed off leadership of his churches in Turkanaland to a trained pastor, Peter Morukirion Eregae. More information on Peter and the churches/villages he serves will be available soon.

    August

    On August 16th, Ekidor (along with 6 other missionaries) left for their new calling to minister to the people of Toposa, South Sudan. However, Ekidor’s churches continued to meet each Sunday, and 1 person was saved. About 64 members attended regularly in the mother church, and 126 attended in the 2 daughter churches combined. Ekidor is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor. He requests prayers for God’s favor and protection in his new mission field in Toposaland.

    July

    In July, Ekidor ministered to his church family. 57 members attended church each Sunday in the mother church in Lowarengak Village and 55 in the daughter church in Nachukui Village and 65 in Pringan Village. He also did and outreach to Nayanae Kabaran Village. At this time no one made a decision to accept Christ. He is planning on going back in the future. It is about 8kms/5 miles away. He is grateful for the support he receives from his sponsor and asks that you pray with him for strength as he walks from village to village. He has completed his paperwork and hopes to be leaving to his new mission field of South Sudan soon.

    June

    In June, Ekidor ministered to his church family. 60 members attended church each Sunday in the mother church in Lowarengak Village and 103 in the daughter church in Nachukui Village and 65 in Pringan Village. He also did and outreach to Lochor-Edome Village and 2 people accepted Christ and were baptized. There are now 11 disciples attending Lighthouses. Ekidor is planning an outreach to Nayanae Kabaran Village (8 kms/5 miles away) sometime in the future. He is grateful for the support he receives from his sponsor and asks that you pray with him for water for this region and for the members of his congregations that are migrating in search of water for their livestock. He has completed his paperwork and hopes to be leaving to his new mission field of South Sudan in July.

    May

    In May, Ekidor ministered to his church family. 102 members attended church each Sunday in the mother church in Lowarengak Village and 93 in the daughter church in Nachukui Village. He also did and outreach to Nayanae-kabaran Village and 3 people accepted Christ and were baptized. There are now 2 Champions leading 2 Lighthouses with 8 disciples attending. Ekidor is planning an outreach to Lochor-edome Village (9 kms/5.6 miles away) sometime in the future. He is grateful for the support he receives from his sponsor. He is working on his paperwork and hopes to be leaving to his new mission field by the end of June.

    April

    In April, Motivator Ekidor ministered to his church family and to the Village of Nayanae-edome and 3 people accepted Christ and were baptized! An average of 90 members attended services in the mother church this month and 116 in the daughter church. Ekidor is working on the goverment paperwork that is needed for him to begin his new ministry in South Sudan. He will be leaving for his new assignment, hopefully by the end of June. Ekidor is grateful for the support he receives from his sponsor.

    March

    In March, Motivator Ekidor ministered in the mother church and in Nayanae-Kabaran Village where 2 people accepted Christ and were baptized. 66 members attended church each Sunday in the mother church and 101 members attended in the daughter church in Nachukui Vllage. He is planning an outreach to Mlango Village (7 kms/4.3 miles away) sometime in the future. Ekidor is grateful for the support he receives from his sponsor.

    February

    In February, Motivator Ekidor ministered in the mother church and in Nagis Village where 3 people accepted Christ and were baptized. 74 members attended church each Sunday in the mother church and 116 members attended in the daughter church in Nachukui Vllage. He now has 2 Champions leading 2 Lighthouses and 8 discples attending. He is planning an outreach to Todonyang Village (30 kms/18.6 miles away) sometime in the future. Ekidor is grateful for the support he receives from his sponsor and asks that you pray with him that he would stay strong in his faith.

    In January, Motivator Ekidor ministered in the mother church and in Nagis Village where 2 people accepted Christ and were baptized. 95 members attended church each Sunday in the mother church and 82 in the daughter church in Nachukui Village. He is planning an outreach in Nebuin Village (13 kms/8 miles away) sometime in the future. Ekidor is grateful for the support he receives from his sponsor and asks that you pray with him for strength to minister.
