    In Loving Memory….
    Motivator Peter Ewoton passed away Saturday, July 24th, 2021 in the Lodwar Hospital after fighting Hepatitis B for a couple of years. Peter served as a SHARE missionary for 12 years. He was known for his love for the Lord, leading people to Christ, and a deep, powerful voice. Many lives were changed for eternity through Peter and his dedication to sharing the Gospel. Please join us in prayer for Peter’s wife, Elizabeth, and their children.

    2021

    June

    In June, Monitor Peter continue to share the Gospel in his area. 96 believers attended church each Sunday in the mother church in Lokitaung Village and 165 in the daughter church in Manalongoria Village. 16 people accepted Christ when the Gospel was shared in Lokumai Village, a previously unreached village! There are now 9 Champions leading 9 Lighthouses with 50 disciples attending! Peter is grateful for the support he receives from his sponsor and is grateful to be healed from a long illness. He is planning an outreach to Kajukujung Village, about 20 kms/12.4 miles away, sometime in the future. He asks that you pray with him for peace along the northern borders between South Sudan and Ethiopia and also for courage for the believers in his church to share the Gospel message with others in their communities.

    May

    In May, Monitor Peter continue to share the Gospel in his area. 119 believers attended church each Sunday in the mother church in Lokitaung Village. Peter is grateful for the support he receives from his sponsor and is grateful to be healed from a long illness. He is planning an outreach to Kajukujung Village, about 20 kms/12.4 miles away, sometime in the future.

    In April, Monitor Peter continue to share the Gospel in his area. An average of 91 believers attended church each Sunday in the mother church in Lokitaung Village. Peter is grateful for the support he receives from his sponsor. He asks that you pray with him for strength as he walks from village to village.

    In March, Monitor Peter continue to share the Gospel in his area. An average of 96 believers attended church each Sunday in the mother church in Lokitaung Village. Peter is grateful for the support he receives from his sponsor.

    February

    In February, Monitor Peter continue to share the Gospel in his area and 90 believers attended church each Sunday in the mother church in Lokitaung Village. Peter is grateful for the support he receives from his sponsor and for the prayers for his health as he has been ill.     March 2020

    In March, Monitor Peter continue to share the Gospel in his area and 150 people accepted Christ and 78 were baptized. He has 45 students attending Discipleship Class. 512 believers attended church each Sunday in the mother church in Lokitaung Village. 712 members attended church services in the 4 daughter churches combined. Peter is grateful for the support he receives from his sponsor.

    January 2020

    In January, Peter became a Monitor of Kachoda Zone! He has 85 students attending Discipleship Class. 292 believers attended church each Sunday in the mother church in Lokitaung Village. 610 members attended church services in the 3 daughter churches combined. Peter is grateful for the support he receives from his sponsor.

    December 2019

    In December, Missionary Peter taught 60 students in Discipleship Class. An average of 217 members attended church each Sunday in the mother church. 266 members attended church services in the 3 daughter churches combined. Peter is grateful for the support he receives from his sponsor.

    November 2019

    In November, an average of 473 members attended church each Sunday in the mother church and 2 daughter churches combined. Missionary Peter is discipling a class of 50 students. He has 3 evangelists trained to help him with his work in the ministry. Peter is grateful for the support he receives from his sponsor.

    October 2019

    In October, Missionary Peter shared the Gospel with people in the nearby villages, and 250 people came to Christ and 57 were baptized. He is currently discipling a class of 15 members. An average of 860 believers attended the Sunday church services. 10 new believers were added to the mother church and 45 new believers to the daughter churches. Peter is grateful for the sponsors continued support and prayers.

    September 2019

    In September, Missionary Peter shared the Gospel with 58 people and 23 people came to Christ and 20 were baptized. He is currently discipling a class of 15 members. An average of 1,070 believers attended the Sunday church services. Peter is grateful for the sponsors continued support and prayers.

    August 2019

    In August, Missionary Peter Ewoton shared the Gospel with 300 people, and 180 of them came to Christ! He has 25 students in Discipleship Class. Peter is grateful for the support he receives from his sponsor.

    July 2019

    In July, Missionary Peter Ewoton shared the Gospel with 150 people in the Village of Shabaha again and 15 people came to Christ. He is currently discipling a class of 7 members. An average of 225 believers attended the Sunday church services. Peter is grateful for the sponsors continued support and prayers.

    In June, Missionary Peter Ewoton shared the Gospel with 150 people in the Village of Shabaha. 30 people came to Christ, and 25 were baptized. He is currently discipling a class of 10 members. This month Peter witnessed an average of 215 believers attend the church services. Peter appreciates the sponsors for their continued support and prayers.

    In May, Missionary Peter Ewoton reached the Kang’ikala Village, and 150 people got saved. 25 people are in discipleship class. He requests prayers for a financial breakthrough in his family. This month, Peter witnessed an average of 359 believers attend Sunday services. He is grateful to the sponsor for their continued support and prayers.

    In April, Missionary Peter Ewoton reached 250 people in the Kalimon Village. 40 people got saved, and 10 attended discipleship class. He prays for the church to have a financial breakthrough. This month Peter witnessed an average of 355 believers attend the church services. Peter appreciates the sponsors for their continued support and prayers.

    In March, Missionary Peter Ewoton reached 250 people in the Kalimon Village. 45 people got saved and 15 attended discipleship class. He prays for the church to have a financial breakthrough.     February 2019

    Praise God! The outreach in Kangipusia was a great success. 250 came to the outreach, and 150 accepted Christ. There are now 55 people attending the discipleship classes. They have now planted a church in Kangipusia. The average attendance in the home church of Lokitaung is growing as well. They have 252 people attending services. Another village has been added to the ones that Peter is already serving. This is the village of Manalongoria, with an attendance of 210. Attendance remains strong in the other three villages.

    January 2019

    In January, Missionary Peter Ewoton visited the village of Kangikala, where 38 people accepted Christ during his outreach. 9 people are enrolled in the discipleship training. In his main ministry village of Lokitaung he had an average attendance of 240 people. He has three church leaders that are trained to go with him to do evangelism and outreach. He also ministers to the villages of Kao, Kangipyusia, and Kajujkuk, with a total attendance of 458.
