    Kanyangapus Village has a population of 100 people. Some of the people believe in God, but others still worship lesser gods like the sun, moon, stars, and witchcraft.
    The economic activities include hunting, gathering of wild fruits, and selling meat and milk.

    2021

     

    August

    On August 16th,  Peter (along with 6 other missionaries) left for their new calling to minister to the people of Toposa, South Sudan. However, Peter’s mother church continued to meet and 59 members attended each Sunday. 5 people accepted Christ, and 2 new members were added to the church in Kanyangapus Village. Peter’s team is looking at doing an outreach in Morungor Village (35 kms/22 miles away) sometime this year. Peter is thankful for the support from his sponsor. He requests prayers for God’s favor and protection in his new mission field in Toposaland. 

    July

    In July, Motivator Peter ministered in his home village where 65 members attended church each Sunday. Peter is thankful for the continued support from his sponsor. His immigration paperwork has been approved and he is hoping to leave for his new assignment as an ambassador of the Gospel to the Toposa people of South Sudan very soon. 

    June

    In June, Motivator Peter ministered in his home village where 68 members attended church each Sunday. 1 person accepted Christ and was added to the church in Kanyangapus Village. This month 10 disciples led others to Christ. Peter is looking at doing an outreach in Morungor Village (35 kms/22 miles away) sometime this year. Peter is thankful for the support from his sponsor. He government paper work has been approved and he is hoping to leave for his new assigment as an embassador of the Gospel to the Toposa People of South Sudan in July. 

    May

    In May, Motivator Peter ministered in his home village where 77 members attended church each Sunday. 4 people accepted Christ and were added to the church in Kanyangapus Village. This month 8 disciples led others to Christ. Peter is looking at doing an outreach in Morungor Village (35 kms/22 miles away) sometime this year. Peter is thankful for the support from his sponsor. He is working on his government paper work to be approved so that he can leave for his new assigment as an embassador of the Gospel to the Toposa People of South Sudan. He will be leaving for his new assignment, hopefully by the end of June. 

    April

    In April, Motivator Peter ministered in his home village where 62 members attended church each Sunday. 4 new members were added to the church in Kanyangapus Village. This month 6 disciples led others to Christ. Peter is looking at doing an outreach in Morungor Village (35 kms/22 miles away) sometime this year. Peter is thankful for the support from his sponsor. On April 25th, he was commissioned along with 14 other missionaries to be embassadors of the Gospel to the Toposa People of South Sudan. He will be leaving for his new assignment, hopefully by the end of June.

    November

    In November, Motivator Peter ministered in his home village where 61 members attended church each Sunday. 4 people accepted Christ this month in Kanyangapus Village. This month 8 disciples led others to Christ. Peter is looking at doing an outreach in Morungor Village (22 miles away) very soon. Peter is thankful for the support from his sponsor.

    October 

    In October, Motivator Peter ministered in his home village where 63 members attended church each Sunday. 5 people accepted Christ this month in Kanyangapus Village. There are 16 disciples enrolled in the Lighthouse Groups and six disciples have led others to Christ. He is looking at doing an outreach in Morungor Village (22 miles away) very soon. Peter is thankful for the support from his sponsor.

    September 

    In September, Motivator Peter ministered in his home village in a large group setting, where 60 members attended church each Sunday. There are 16 disciples enrolled in the Lighthouse Groups. He is looking at doing an outreach in Morungor Village (22 miles away) in the near future.

    March 

    In March, Motivator Peter ministered in his home village, where 42 members attended church each Sunday. There are 14 students attending Discipleship Class. Peter is grateful to Share International for the prayers and financial support.

    February 

    In February, Motivator Peter continued to minister to the families in his area. An average of 52 members attended church each Sunday. He currently has 17 people attending the Discipleship Class. Peter is grateful to Share International for making it possible for him to be a missionary and do God’s work. He is planning an outreach to the Village of Morungor in the future (about 21 miles away).

    January 

    In January, Motivator Peter continued to minister to the families in his area. An average of 54 members attended church each Sunday. Peter is grateful to Share International for making it possible for him to be a missionary and do God’s work. He is planning an outreach to the Village of Morungor in the future.

    December 

    In December, Missionary Peter shared the Gospel, and 4 people gave their lives to Christ and were baptized. An average of 54 members attended church each Sunday. Peter is grateful to Share International for making it possible for him to be a missionary and do God’s work. He is planning an outreach to the Village of Morungor in the future.

    November 

    In November, Missionary Peter shared the Gospel, and 4 people gave their lives to Christ. An average of 52 members attended church each Sunday. Peter is grateful to Share International for making it possible for him to be a missionary and do God’s work.

    October

    In October, Missionary Peter witnessed 4 people give their lives to Christ. He currently disciples a class of 14 students. Peter has 10 evangelists who are trained to help him with his work. He prays to reach the Village of Morungor in the near future to plant a church there.

    September 

    In September, Missionary Peter continued to shared the Word of God in his village, and 5 people accepted Christ. He is planning to plant a church in the Village of Morung’or in the future. An average of 48 believers attended church services this month. Peter is grateful to Share International for making it possible for him to be a missionary and do God’s work.

    August 

    In August, Missionary Peter had an average of 52 members attend church each Sunday. He currently disciples a class of 14 students, 12 of whom can freely testify to nonbelievers courageously.

    July 

    In July, Missionary Peter shared the Word of God in his village. He disciples a class of 12 members. He prays for strength to walk the long distances so that he can visit other villages. He is planning to plant a church in the Village of Morung’or in the future. An average of 44 believers attended church services this month. Peter is grateful for Share International.

    June 

    In June, Missionary Peter shared the Gospel, and 5 people got saved. He disciples a class of 11 members. He is planning on to plant a church in the Village of Morung’or in the future. An average of 44 believers attended church services this month.

    February 

    Missionary Peter is the pastor of the church in Kanyangapus, where the average church attendance for the month of February was 40. He is planning an outreach to the village of Moru Engor sometime in the future.
