2023

December

In December, Motivator Gabriel reported that the people of Kaikir Village sell charcoal and are pastoralists. The church there has about 182 members that attend church regularly. The 2 Champions each lead a Lighthouse. The disciples in the Lighthouses have led 1 person to faith in 2023. The daughter church is almost 43 miles away and Gabriel walks this distance monthly to minister to the congregation of 87 people. The disciples here have led 2 people to Christ in 2023.  

November

In November, Motivator Gabriel ministered in his churches. About 84 members in the mother church in Kaikir Village. In the daughter church in Natangor, there are 85 members. Eight disciples shared their faith stories with others. Gabriel is grateful for the support he receives. He prays that more people would come to know Christ and for those suffering from hunger.

October

In October, Motivator Gabriel ministered in his churches. About 84 members in the mother church in Kaikir Village. In the daughter church in Natangor, there are 86 members. Two disciples shared their faith stories with others and 2 believers joined the mother church. Gabriel is grateful for the support he receives and for the rain that they have received.

One disciple shared their faith stories with others and 2 believers joined the mother church and 2 believers joined the daughter church. Gabriel is grateful for the support he receives and for the marvelous things that God is doing in their lives. He asks that you pray with him for an end to the drought.

In August, Motivator Gabriel ministered in his churches. About 78 members in the mother church in Kaikir Village. In the daughter church in Natangor, there are 79 members. One disciple shared their faith stories with others and 3 believers joined the mother church and 2 believers joined the daughter church. Gabriel is grateful for the support he receives and for the strength that God gives him every day. He asks that you pray with him for an end to the drought.

In the daughter church in Natangor, there are 87 members. 4 disciples shared their faith stories with others and 3 believers joined the mother church. One new member was added to the mother church and 2 to the daughter church this month. Gabriel is grateful for the support he receives. In March, Motivator Gabriel ministered in his churches. About 95 members in the mother church in Kaikir Village. In the daughter church in Natangor, there are 67 members. Two new members were added to both the mother church and the daughter church this month. Gabriel is grateful for the support he receives and for rain in Turkana.

2022

In December, Motivator Gabriel reported that there are 179 members in the mother church in Kaikir Village. In the daughter church in Natangor, there are 76 members. There is 1 Champion who is leading a Lighthouse where they are teaching disciples how to make disciples of others.

Gabriel is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor. He asks that you pray with him for the many that are hungery due to lack of food and for strength for him as he walks from village to village.

In July, Motivator Gabriel held services in both churches. About 60 members attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 214 attended in the daughter church. Gabriel is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor and also for the opportunity to learn more during the STORM Training at the SEND Center this past month. He asks that you pray with him for strength as he walks from village to village.

June

In March, Motivator Gabriel held services in both churches. About 70 members attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 57 attended in the daughter church. One person accepted Christ when the Gospel message was shared. Attendance is low due to migration of people in search of food and water. Gabriel is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor and asks that you pray with him for the church and his family to stay strong in the faith.

In February, Motivator Gabriel held services in both churches. About 77 members attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 63 attended in the daughter church. January

In January, Motivator Gabriel reported that there are 165 members in the mother church in Kaikir Village. On top of Sunday services, the church also does sacraments, baptisms, and homestead-to-homestead evangelism. He visits the daughter church in Natangor on a monthly basis, and there are about 62 members there. Gabriel is teaching 4 disciples how to make disciples of others.

In September, Motivator Gabriel ministered in both churches. Approximately 67 members attended each Sunday in the mother church in Kaikir Village, and 82 attended in the daughter church in Natagor Village. He also did an outreach in Kangirena Village and one person accepted Christ. Gabriel is grateful for the support that he receives from his sponsor and is thankful for the rain that has come this month.

He also did an outreach to Nakitoe-kirion Village and one person accepted Christ. Gabriel is grateful for the support that he receives from his sponsor.

May

In May, Motivator Gabriel ministered in both churches. Approximately 82 members attended each Sunday in the mother church in Kaikir Village, and 55 attended in the daughter church in Natagor Village. He also did an outreach to Kangisekona Village. He is planning an outreach in Lochor-edome Village (49 kms/30.4 miles away) in June. Gabriel is grateful for the support that he receives from his sponsor.

April

Approximately 73 members attended each Sunday in the mother church in Kaikir Village, and 60 attended in the daughter church in Natagor Village. He also did an outreach to Kangisekona Village and 1 person accepted Christ.
