2023

December

In December, Motivator David reported that the people in Lokwii Village (pop. 18,000) make their living by farming. The lmother church in Lokwii Village has 189 members. The 17 Champions are each leading a Lighthouse with 60 disciples attending. These disciples have led 13 others to Christ in 2023. David rotates his preaching on a biweekly schedule throughout his churches. He travels on foot between 4 to 35 miles to reach a church. The disciples in the daughter churches have led 6 people to Christ this past year.

November

In November, Motivator David held services in 6 churches. About 132 attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 474 attended in the 5 daughter churches combined. He did an outreach in Nayanae Katon Village and 7 people accepted Christ. He distributed 10 Audio Bibles this month. David is grateful for the support from his sponsor and asks that you pray with him for the church and his family, for those that came to Christ, for strength as he walks from village to village, and for water.

September

In September, Motivator David held services in 4 churches. About 138 attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 422 attended in the 3 daughter churches combined. He did an outreach in Namorutunga Village and 2 people accepted Christ. David is grateful for the support from his sponsor and asks that you pray with him for the church and its projects, for his family, and for strength as he walks from village to village.

August

In August, Motivator David held services in 4 churches. About 133 attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 353 attended in the 3 daughter churches combined. Three disciples shared their faith stories. David is grateful for the support from his sponsor and asks that you pray with him for spiritual growth of the church and for strength as he walks from village to village.

July

In July, Motivator David held services in 5 churches. About 118 attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 412 attended in the 4 daughter churches combined. He did an outreach in Kariobank Village and 1 person accepted Christ when the Gospel message was shared. Five new members were added to the mother church. Two disciples shared their faith stories and led others to Christ this month. David is grateful for the support from his sponsor and asks that you pray with him for God’s protection as he serves.

June

In June, Motivator David held services in 5 churches. About 126 attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 493 attended in the 4 daughter churches combined. He did an outreach in Natorube Village and 4 people accepted Christ when the Gospel message was shared. Three disciples shared their faith stories and led others to Christ this month. David is grateful for the support from his sponsor and asks that you pray with him that believers would have a desire to join a Lighthouse and be discipled.

May

In May, Motivator David held services in 5 churches. About 117 attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 422 attended in the 4 daughter churches combined. Two new members were added to the mother church. When the Gospel message was shared in Kaleletan Village, 5 people accepted Christ. He was also able to distribute 5 Audio Bibles this month. David is grateful for the support from his sponsor. He asks that you pray with him that the church leaders would stay strong in their faith.

April

In April, Motivator David held services in 5 churches. About 124 attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 563 attended in the 4 daughter churches combined. David is grateful for the support from his sponsor.

March

In March, Motivator David reported that there are 125 members in the mother church in Lokwii Village, and in the daughter churches there are 135 members in Nawoitorong Village, 131 in Echoke Village, and 118 in Lopeduru Village. Two new members were added to the mother church and 6 new members to the daughter churches this month. David is grateful for the support he receives and asks that you pray with him that the church would grow spiritually and for peace in the area.

February

In February, Motivator David reported that there are 125 members in the mother church in Lokwii Village, and in the daughter churches there are 135 members in Nawoitorong Village, 131 in Echoke Village, and 120 in Lopeduru Village. Three new members were added to the mother church this month. He was also able to distribute 5 Audio Bibles this month. David is grateful for the support he receives and asks that you pray with him that the church would grow spiritually and for peace in the area.

2022

December

In December, Motivator David reported that there are 142 members in the mother church in Lokwii Village, and in the daughter churches there are 64 members in Nawoitorong Village, 47 in Echoke Village, 71 in Katilia Village, 94 in Lopeduru Village, 47 in Morukomol Village, and 54 in Kangisaja Village. In addition to regular Sunday services, David does baptisms, homestead-to-homestead evangelism, and DMM training.

November

In November, Motivator David ministered in the mother church, and about 126 believers attended each Sunday in the mother church and 447 in the 4 daughter churches combined. 7 new members joined the mother church this month. He did an outreach to Apetet Village and at this time no one made a decision to follow Christ. David is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor and asks that you pray with him for safety and strength as he walks from village to village.

September

In September, Motivator David ministered in the mother church, and about 115 believers attended each Sunday in the mother church and 447 in the 4 daughter churches combined. He did an outreach to Lokamosia Village and 22 people accepted Christ and 14 people were baptized! David is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor and asks that you pray with him for safety and strength as he walks from village to village.

In August, Motivator David ministered in the mother church, and about 135 believers attended each Sunday in the mother church and 461 in the 4 daughter churches combined. He did an outreach to Nadoto Village and 4 people accepted Christ. In June, Motivator David ministered in the mother church, and about 147 believers attended each Sunday. He also shared the Gospel in Namorototio Village, and 8 people accepted Christ as Savior. There are 36 disciples learning how to make disciples of others. David is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor.

May

In May, Motivator David ministered to his church families. Approximately 126 believers met weekly in the mother church in Lokwii Village and 582 met in the 5 daughter churches combined. He did an outreach in Ngakokes Village and 4 people accepted Christ. David is grateful for the support that he receives and asks that you pray with him that the church would be able to get the materials to complete a structure for worship and also for strength as he walks from village to village.

April

In April, Motivator David held services in 6 of his churches. About 132 attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 611 attended in the 5 daughter churches combined.  David also ministered in Ngakokes Village, and 13 people accepted Christ as Savior. He is planning an outreach in Ekaburu Village, about 7 miles away, in May. David is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor and for the rain they received this month.

March

In March, Motivator David ministered to his church families and to Nayanae Katoan Village. Approximately 135 believers met weekly in the mother church in Lokwii Village and 464 met in the 5 daughter churches combined. He is planning an outreach in Ekaburu Village, about 12 kms/7.4 miles away, in May. David is grateful for the support that he receives and asks that you pray with him for strength for everyone as they all need to walk long distances to get water for their families and also for his brother who is very ill.

February

In February, Motivator David ministered to his church families and to Nayanae Katoan Village. Approximately 141 believers met weekly in the mother church in Lokwii Village and 484 met in the 5 daughter churches combined. He is planning an outreach in Nayokori Village, about 41 kms/25.4 miles away, in March. David is grateful for the support that he receives and asks that you pray with him for strength for everyone as they all need to walk long distances to get water for their families.

He did an outreach in Kangibenyoi Village and 29 people accepted Christ and 21 were baptized! He is planning an outreach in Lotubae Village, about 7 kms/4.3 miles away, in the new year. David is grateful for the support from his sponsor. He asks you to pray with him for strength as he walks long distances to get water.

November

In November, Motivator David held services in 7 of the churches. About 135 members attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 548 attended in 6 of the daughter churches combined. He is also planning outreaches to Nayanae-Katon Village, about 7 kms/4.3 miles away, in December. David is grateful for the support from his sponsor. October

In October, Motivator David held services in all 8 churches. About 127 members attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 588 attended in the 7 daughter churches combined. They will begin constructing a church building in November. He is also planning outreaches to Lotubae and Nakwamekwi Villages, both about 10 kms/6.2 miles away, in November. David is grateful for the support from his sponsor. He requests prayers for his disabled child who is immobile and for strength as he walks from village to village.

September

In September, Motivator David held services in all 8 churches. About 130 members attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 600 attended in the 7 daughter churches combined. In August, Motivator David held services in 7 churches. About 154 members attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 488 attended in the 6 daughter churches combined. David is grateful for the support from his sponsor. He requests prayers for continued protection from COVID and security.

July

In July, Motivator David met with his home church in Lokwii Village where 123 met each Sunday for services. Eleven new members were added. About 488 members met in the 6 daughter churches. He did an outreach in Nadoto Village, and 36 people accepted Christ and 21 baptized! June

In June, Motivator David met with his home church in Lokwii Village where 113 met each Sunday for services. Two new members were added this month. About 288 members met in the 5 daughter churches. He has 4 Champions leading 4 Lighthouses, discipling 22 disciples! He is planning an outreach to Lotubae Village (6 kms/3.7 miles) in July. David is grateful for the support that he receives from his sponsor and asks that you pray with him for strength as he walks from village to village.

In April, Motivator David met with his home church in Lokwii Village where 131 met each Sunday for services. Three new members were added. About 273 members met in the 5 daughter churches. He did an outreach in Namorutunga Village and 13 people accepted the Gospel message. He has 4 Champions leading 4 Lighthouses, discipling 19 disciples!
