In October 2021, Charles Maraka became a SHARE Motivator. He oversees the churches planted by Michael Silale, who is now a part of our staff as the Coordinator of Katapakin Zone. Charles gave his life to Christ in 2006 and began serving as an evangelist.

2023
December
In December, Motivator Charles reported that the villagers in Nanyangakipi Village (pop. 3,000) make their living as pastorlists and selling charcoal. He meets regularly with the church of 208 believers. In 2023 the disciples have led 54 people to Christ.
November
In November, Motivator Charles ministered in the mother church, where about 308 members attended each Sunday. He asks you to pray God’s hand to be on him as he ministers.
October
In October, Motivator Charles ministered in the mother church, where about 218 members attended each Sunday. He asks you to pray with him for the families in the church, for those suffering from hunger and for much needed rain.

In September, Motivator Charles ministered in the mother church, where about 95 members attended each Sunday. He asks you to pray with him for the families in the church, for those suffering from hunger and for much needed rain.

In August, Motivator Charles ministered in the mother church, where about 204 members attended each Sunday. Eleven new members joined the church this month. He asks you to pray with him for those that are migrating to the lake regions.

In July, Motivator Charles ministered in the mother church, where about 139 members attended each Sunday. Four new members joined the church this month. He is grateful for God’s kindness. He asks you to pray with him for those that are migrating due to the drought.

In June, Motivator Charles ministered in the mother church, where about 157 members attended each Sunday. Two new people accepted Christ when the Gospel message was shared and joined the mother church. He asks you to pray with him for those that are suffering from hunger.

In May, Motivator Charles ministered in the mother church, where about 174 members attended each Sunday. He is grateful for the Christians in his community that are boldly sharing the Gospel of Christ with others. He asks you to pray with him for those that are migrating due to the drought.

In February, Motivator Charles ministered in the mother church, where about 186 members attended each Sunday. He shared the Gospel message in Nachan Village and 29 people accepted Christ. He asks that you pray with him for the many that are suffering due to lack of rain.

2022
December
In December, Motivator Charles reported that there are 208 members in his church in Nanyangakipi Village. He plans to reach Nakwaperit Village (27 kms away) by March 2023.
November
In November, Motivator Charles ministered in the mother church, and about 122 believers attended each Sunday. He prays for all the families that are migrating in search of food and water and for rain and for his children to attend school again when it begins in January.

In September, Motivator Charles ministered in the mother church, and about 120 believers attended each Sunday. He did an outreach in Lorengelup Village and 19 people accepted Christ as Savior! He prays for all the families that are migrating in search of food and water and for rain.

In May, Motivator Charles ministered to his church families. About 210 believers met each Sunday in the mother church. Migration has caused a lot of people to leave the area in search of food and water. Charles hopes to meet with his other churches soon. He is grateful for the support that he receives and asks that you pray for rain for the area and for the believers that are migrating.

In March, Motivator Charles ministered in the mother church. About 288 believers attended each Sunday. There are 15 disciples learning how to make disciples of others. Charles is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor.

In March, Motivator Charles ministered to his church families. About 216 believers met each Sunday in the mother church. Migration has caused a lot of people to leave the area in search of food and water. Charles hopes to meet with his other churches soon. He is grateful for the support that he receives and asks that you pray for rain for the area and for the believers that are migrating.

In February, Motivator Charles ministered to his home church family. About 215 members met each week in the mother church in Natadei Village. He is grateful for the support that he receives from SHARE and asks that you pray with him for resources to complete the church building and for the families that are migrating in search of food and water.

In January, Motivator Charles ministered to his church families. He has 3 churches that he preaches at weekly and two that he preaches at bi-weekly. He also has 9 other villages that he visits often and continues to share the Gospel message with them. At this time an established church has not been planted in these other villages.
