In April 2021, SHARE commissioned Simon along with 14 other missionaries to begin outreach to the Toposa people of South Sudan. Simon is originally from Toposa but had been living in Turkana, Kenya. He has served as an evangelist, disciple-maker, and translator.

2023
April
In April, Simon returned ministered in Nataaba, Kalominakung, and Nawoyatiir Villages. He also shared the Gospel in two new villages: Moru arengan and Nakwaatal. 8 people were saved. Simon is still training 5 believers how to start their own Lighthouses and distribute more DMM material. This month 10 Lighthouses were established in the 3 towns that he has been minitering in. He also distributed 10 Audio Bibles and 5 DMM Bookmarks. Some of the major challenges in the area are lack of a medical facility and need for education for both adults and children. He prays that people will come to Christ and also be healed from their addictions.
March
In March, Simon continued sharing the Gospel in Nataaba, Kalominakung, and Nawoyatiir Villages and 7 people were accepted Christ. Simon is still training 5 believers how to start their own Lighthouses (discipleship groups) and how to share their faith stories with others. He was able to distribute 10 Audio Bibles and 3 DMM Bookmarks this month. Some of the major challenges in the area are lack of a medical facility and need for education for both adults and children. He prays that people will come to Christ and also be healed from their addictions.

In February, Simon returned to sharing the Gospel in Nataaba, Kalominakung, and Nawoyatiir Villages after taking time to be with his family in Turkana in the month of January. When he came returned the people were excited to see him and listened to his Gospel message. 4 people were saved. Simon is still training 5 believers how to start their own Lighthouses (discipleship groups). Some of the major challenges in the area are lack of a medical facility and need for education for both adults and children. He prays that people will come to Christ and also be healed from their addictions.

November
In November, Simon continued sharing the Gospel in Nataaba, Kalominakung, and Nawoyatiir Villages. 9 people were saved. He was able to distribute 10 Audio Bibles and 5 DMM Bookmarks this month to believers. Simon is still training 5 believers how to start their own Lighthouses (discipleship groups). In April, Simon shared the Gospel in 3 Toposa villages – Kapelinyang, Kalominakung, and Kakomol-tom. 2 people accepted Christ as Savior, and 15 Audio Bibles were handed out to believers. 3 believers are being trained how to become Champions; they should be forming Lighthouses soon.
