    2023

    November

    In November, Peter continued sharing the Gospel in Moru-angilimo, Lochoges, and Nauren gech Villages. Peter is training 6 Champions, meeting with them regularly. 6 Lighthouses have been established in 4 villages with 60 disciples attending. He teaches and encourages the new believers to use the Audio Bibles, how to listen and do what God is saying in the Bible, to spend time in prayer. He distributed 4 Audio Bibles and 2 DMM Bookmarks this month. He is grateful the positive reception from the Toposa people and prays that it would continue and that many more Toposa people would come to Christ. He also prays for peace and reconciliation within Sudan.

    October

    In October, Peter continued sharing the Gospel in Moru-angilimo, Lochoges, and Nauren gech Villages. People are eager to hear the Gospel message and 2 people gave their lives to Christ. Peter is training 6 Champions, meeting with them regularly. 6 Lighthouses have been established in 4 villages with 60 disciples attending.     In September, Peter continued sharing the Gospel in Moru-angilimo, Lochoges, Looliyo and Nauren gech Villages. People are eager to hear the Gospel message and 2 people gave their lives to Christ. Peter is training 6 believers how to start their own discipleship groups (Lighthouses) and 6 groups have been established in 4 villages with 48 disciples attending. He teaches and encourages the new believers to use the Audio Bibles, how to listen and do what God is saying in the Bible, to spend time in prayer. He is grateful for the rains they have been receiving as the people can start growing crops. He asks that you pray with him that the positive reception from the Toposa people would continue.

People are eager to hear the Gospel message. Peter is training 5 believers how to start their own discipleship groups (Lighthouses) and 4 groups have been established with 40 disciples attending. He teaches and encourages the new believers to use the Audio Bibles, how to listen and do what God is saying in the Bible, to spend time in prayer. He was able to distribute 4 Audio Bibles this month. They are grateful for the rains they have been receiving as the people can start growing crops. He asks that you pray with him that the people would be released from the hold that illicit drugs, alcohol and chewing tobacco has on them and for peace between the Toposa and Buya tribes as well as in the leadership if North Sudan.

    June

    In June, Peter continued sharing the Gospel in Moru-angilimo, Lochoges and Nauren gech Villages. He also shared the Gospel in Lochoa and Napusitirae villages. People are eager to hear the Gospel, and 4 people accepted Christ as Savior. Peter is continuing to train 5 believers how to start their own Lighthouses. Four villages have established Lighthouses with 40 disciples attending. He teaches and encourages the new believers to use the Audio Bibles, how to listen and do what God is saying in the Bible, to spend time in prayer, and do prayer walks. He was able to distribute 6 Audio Bibles and 7 DMM bookmarks this month. They are grateful for the rains as they can start growing crops and for the Toposa people’s love and hospitality. He asks that you pray with him that the people would be released from the hold that illicit drugs, alcohol, and chewing tobacco has on them.

    In May, Peter continued sharing the Gospel in Moru-angilimo, Lochoges and Nauren gech Villages. He also shared the Gospel in 2 new villages: Lochoa and Loolio. People are eager to hear the Gospel message and 7 people accepted Christ as Savior. Peter is now training 5 believers how to start their own discipleship groups (Lighthouses). He teaches and encourages the new believers to use the Audio Bibles, how to listen and do what God is saying in the Bible, to spend time in prayer. He was able to distribute 3 Audio Bibles and 6 DMM bookmarks this month. They are grateful for the rains they have been receiving as the people can start growing crops. He asks that you pray with him that the people would be released from the hold that illicit drugs, alcohol and chewing tobacco has on them.

He was able to distribute 4 Audio Bibles and 1 DMM bookmarks this month. They are grateful for the rains they have been receiving. Peter is now training 7 believers how to start their own discipleship groups (Lighthouses). He teaches and encourages the new believers to use the Audio Bibles. He was able to distribute 4 Audio Bibles and 4 DMM bookmarks this month. They are grateful for the rains they have been receiving.

    October

    In October, Peter continued sharing the Gospel in Moru-angilimo, Loliyo, and Naurengech Villages. 29 people accepted Christ as Savior! Peter is still training 6 believers how to start their own discipleship groups (Lighthouses). He teaches and encourages the new believers to use the Audio Bibles. They are grateful for the rains they have been receiving.

    September

    In September, Peter continued sharing the Gospel in Moru-angilimo, Loliyo, and Naurengech Villages. 12 people accepted Christ as Savior, and 12 believers were baptized! Peter is still training 6 believers how to start their own discipleship groups (Lighthouses). He teaches and encourages the new believers to use the Audio Bibles. They are grateful for the rains and the opportunity to do baptisms.

    August

    In August, Peter continued sharing the Gospel in Moru-angilimo and Naurengech Villages. 4 people accepted Christ as Savior. Peter is training 6 believers how to start their own discipleship groups (Lighthouses). He teaches and encourages the new believers to use the Audio Bibles. They are grateful for the rains.

    June

    In June, Peter shared the Gospel in Moru-angilimo and Naurengech Villages. The villagers have been positive and happy to hear the Gospel. Peter will continue meeting with these villages weekly. 5 believers are still being trained on how to start their own discipleship groups (Lighthouses). Peter has been asked if the team can start Adult Education classes. He asks that you pray with him that one day this would be a reality. They are grateful for the rains.

    May

    In May, Peter shared the Gospel in 3 Toposa villages – (Moru-angilimo, Naurengech, and Loliyo). The villagers have been positive and happy to hear the Gospel. 6 people accepted Christ this month in these villages. 5 believers are being trained on how to start their own discipleship groups (Lighthouses). Peter has been asked if the team can start Adult Education classes. He asks that you pray with him that one day this would be a reality.

    April

    In April, Peter continued sharing the Gospel and developing relationships in 3 Toposa village – Moru-angilimo, Nauren-gech, and Loliyo. 14 people accepted Christ as Savior this month. There are 4 people being trained how to become Champions; they should be forming Lighthouses soon. Peter prays that the resistance barrier brought by Catholic missions will be broken, so that they can have that freedom to reach the lost. He also prays that the love they are getting from the Toposa people will continue and many will come to know Christ soon.

    March

    In March, Peter shared the Gospel in 1 Toposa village – Moru-angilimo. 11 people were saved. The reception of hearing the Gospel message has been positive. There are 4 people in this village being trained on how to start their own Lighthouses (discipleship groups). Peter prays that the resistance barrier brought by Catholic missions will be broken, so that they can have that freedom to reach the lost. He also prays that the love they are getting from the Toposa people will continue and many will come to know Christ soon.


    2021

    September

    In September, Peter and the rest of the Toposa Missionary Team traveled back to Kenya to attend driving lessons and receive their new motorbikes. The Team will head back to Toposa soon to continue with surveying, evangelizing, and establishing their mission base. Unfortunately Peter’s church in Turkanaland withered during his absence. Pray with us as we search for a replacement pastor to restore this church.

    August

    On August 16th,  Peter (along with 6 other missionaries) left for their new calling to minister to the people of Toposa, South Sudan. However, Peter’s mother church continued to meet and 59 members attended each Sunday. 5 people accepted Christ, and 2 new members were added to the church in Kanyangapus Village. Peter’s team is looking at doing an outreach in Morungor Village (35 kms/22 miles away) sometime this year. Peter is thankful for the support from his sponsor. He requests prayers for God’s favor and protection in his new mission field in Toposaland. 

    July

    In July, Motivator Peter ministered in his home village where 65 members attended church each Sunday. Peter is thankful for the continued support from his sponsor. His immigration paperwork has been approved and he is hoping to leave for his new assignment as an ambassador of the Gospel to the Toposa people of South Sudan very soon. 

    June

    In June, Motivator Peter ministered in his home village where 68 members attended church each Sunday. 1 person accepted Christ and was added to the church in Kanyangapus Village. This month 10 disciples led others to Christ. Peter is looking at doing an outreach in Morungor Village (35 kms/22 miles away) sometime this year. Peter is thankful for the support from his sponsor. He government paper work has been approved and he is hoping to leave for his new assigment as an embassador of the Gospel to the Toposa People of South Sudan in July. 

    May

    In May, Motivator Peter ministered in his home village where 77 members attended church each Sunday. 4 people accepted Christ and were added to the church in Kanyangapus Village. This month 8 disciples led others to Christ. Peter is looking at doing an outreach in Morungor Village (35 kms/22 miles away) sometime this year. Peter is thankful for the support from his sponsor. He is working on his government paper work to be approved so that he can leave for his new assigment as an embassador of the Gospel to the Toposa People of South Sudan. He will be leaving for his new assignment, hopefully by the end of June. 

    April

    In April, Motivator Peter ministered in his home village where 62 members attended church each Sunday. 4 new members were added to the church in Kanyangapus Village. This month 6 disciples led others to Christ. Peter is looking at doing an outreach in Morungor Village (35 kms/22 miles away) sometime this year. Peter is thankful for the support from his sponsor. On April 25th, he was commissioned along with 14 other missionaries to be embassadors of the Gospel to the Toposa People of South Sudan. He will be leaving for his new assignment, hopefully by the end of June.
