About Simon:
Simon Ekitela became a SHARE Missionary in 2021 (replacing former Motivator Dominic Ekuwom Ekiru who deserted the church). Simon accepted Christ as Savior in 2001 when Motivator Joseph Eyapan shared the Gospel in his village. He was baptized and 2003 and later became a Sunday School teacher. In 2021 he obtained a certificate in the Spoken Word Ministries. He is married to Cecilia Atirr, and together they have one child named Mary.

The mother church, where Simon is the lead pastor, is located in Nabwelpus Village, approximately 20 kilometers from Lodwar. There are about 70 members attending the church here. The daughter church is located in Kapokor Village, with approximately 60 members in attendance. Simon has also trained 3 Champions who are teaching 6 disciples how to make disciples of others.
