    2023

    December

    In December, Motivator Samuel reported that the people of Kibish Village are pastoralists. There are about 380 members that attend church regularly in the mother church. The 6 Champions are each leading a Lighthouse. Samuel travels to the daughter church either by motor bike or by walking. There are 265 members there that meet weekly for services. The 3 Champions each have a Lighthouse and the disciples there have led 5 people to Christ in 2023. Sanuel has also identified 4 unreached villages between 4 and 15 miles from the mother church. He plans on visiting these villages in 2024 and sharing the Gospel with the people there.

    October

    In October, Motivator Samuel ministered in the mother church, and about 333 members attended each Sunday. Ten disciples shared their faith stories with others this month. Samuel is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor and for peace between the Turkana and the Nyang’atom tribes. He prays for strength as he walks from village to village and for strength to withstand the the forces of traditional stongholds.

    In September, Motivator Samuel ministered in the mother church, and about 337 members attended each Sunday. Ten disciples shared their faith stories with others this month.     August

    In August, Motivator Samuel ministered in the mother church, and about 315 members attended each Sunday. Six disciples shared their faith stories with others this month and 14 people accepted Christ and joined the mother church. Samuel is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor and for their faith in God which gives them strength. He prays for strength to endure the hardships of the drought.

    July

    In July, Motivator Samuel ministered in the mother church, and about 288 members attended each Sunday. Six disciples shared their faith stories with others this month. Samuel is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor and for the successful misson venture into Ethiopia. He prays for strength as he walks from village to village and strength to stand against tradional strongholds.

    In June, Motivator Samuel ministered in the mother church, and about 306 members attended each Sunday. He is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor. He prays for God’s kindness and mercy upon their lives.

    In February, Motivator Samuel ministered in the mother church, and about 368 members attended each Sunday. 10 people accepted Christ as Savior and joined the mother church! Six disciples led others to Christ this month. Sameul was able to distribute 20 Audio Bibles, 5 Hard copy Bibles, and 8 DMM Bookmarks. He is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor.

    In January, Motivator Samuel ministered in the mother church, and about 294 members attended each Sunday. 10 people accepted Christ as Savior! There are 6 Champions teaching 36 disciples how to make disciples of others. Samuel is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor.


    2022

    December

    In December, Motivator Samuel reported that there are 357 members in the mother church in Kibish Village and 200 members in the daughter church in Lokomarinyang Village. There are 8 Champions who are each leading their own Lighthouse where they are teaching disciples how to make disciples of others. Samuel plans to reach 4 more villages in 2023 – Kambimpya, Lobele, Kasarani, & Natodomeri!

    NOvember

    In November, Motivator Samuel ministered in the mother church, and about 193 believers attended each Sunday. He is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor. He prays for much needed rain in Turkana.

    October

    In October, Motivator Samuel ministered in the mother church, and about 407 believers attended each Sunday. 15 people accepted Christ as Savior.  Samuel is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor. He prays for the children that God would continue to guide them at school.

    September

    In September, Motivator Samuel ministered in the mother church, and about 337 believers attended each Sunday. 7 people accepted Christ as Savior. Samuel also went to Ethiopia with the SHARE to team to minister to the Nyang’atom people. He is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor. He prays for the Nyang’atom people.

    In April, Motivator Samuel ministered to his church families. About 320 believers gathered each Sunday for worship and teaching in the mother church. Samuel is planning several outreaches this year. He is grateful for the support that he receives and also for the rain that they have received.

    February

    In February, Motivator Samuel ministered to his church families. About 302 believers gathered each Sunday in February for worship and teaching in the mother church and 250 in the daughter church. 16 people were saved when the Gospel message was shared! Samuel is planning several outreaches this year. He is grateful for the support that he receives and asks that you pray with him for the missionaries in both Turkana and South Sudan.

    January

    In January, Motivator Samuel reported that there are 341 members in the mother church in Kibish Village and 165 members in the daughter church in Lokomarinyang Village. In addition to regular services, Samuel does sacraments, baptisms, homestead-to-homestead evangelism, and teaches the DMM methodology. He plans to reach 4 more villages with the Gospel in 2022.


    2021

    December

    In December, Motivator Samwel held services in 2 churches. About 332 members attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 165 attended the daughter church in Lokamarnyang Village. He also shared the Gospel in a village in Ethiopia called Lebere, and 200 people were saved! Samwel is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor and for the continued peace between the two tribes. H is planning outreaches to three villages in 2022.

    November

    In November, Motivator Samwel held services in 2 churches. About 322 members attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 170 attended the daughter church in Lokamarnyang Village. Samwel is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor and is also grateful for the peace that has happened between a neighboring tribe and the Turkana.

    In September, Motivator Samwel held services in 2 churches. About 302 members attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 175 attended the daughter church in Lokamarnyang Village. He also shared the Gospel in a village in Ethiopia called Lebere, and 29 people were saved! There are now 24 disciples in the 4 Lighthouses learning how to make disciples of others. Samwel is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor.
