    Updates from the field:

    2021

    August

    On August 16th, John (along with 6 other missionaries) left for their new calling to minister to the people of Toposa, South Sudan. However, John’s mother church in Lochor-ekuyen Village continued to meet each Sunday with about 71 members. He is grateful for the support he receives from his sponsor. He requests prayers for God’s favor and protection in his new mission field in Toposaland and also for thanksgiving as water is now available in Lochor-ekuyen Village.

    July

    In July, Motivator John ministered to his churches. About 72 members attended services each Sunday in the mother church and 115 in the two daughter churches. He and his team plan to do an outreach in Kangagetei-ber Village (15 kms/12.4 miles away) sometime in 2021. He continues to share the Gospel in Napetan Village. He is grateful for the support that he receives from his sponsor and asks you pray for strength for him as he walks from village to village. He is gratefulf for the rains that have come in July. He has completed his paperwork that he needs for his new mission field of South Sudan. He will be leaving for his new assignment as soon as every one has completed all the necessary paperwork. 

    June

    In June, Motivator John ministered to his churches. About 77 members attended services each Sunday in the mother church. He and his team plan to do an outreach in Kangagetei-ber Village (15 kms/12.4 miles away) sometime in 2021. He did an outreach in Napetan Village and one person accepted Christ. He is grateful for the support that he receives from his sponsor and asks you pray for strength for him as he walks from village to village. He has completed his paperwork that he needs for his new mission field of South Sudan. He will be leaving for his new assignment in July. 

    May

    In May, Motivator John ministered to his churches. About 71 members attended services each Sunday in the mother church alone and 115 in the 2 daughter churches combined. He and his team plan to do an outreach in Kangagetei-ber Village (15 kms/12.4 miles away) sometime in 2021. He is grateful for the support that he receives from his sponsor and asks you pray for strength for his church as they are rebuilding their structure after strong winds tore it down. He is continuing to work on his paperwork that he needs for his new mission field of South Sudan. He will be leaving for his new assignment, hopefully by the end of June. 

    April

    In April, Motivator John ministered to his churches. About 66 members attended services each Sunday in the mother church alone and 114 in the 2 daughter churches combined. He did an outreach in Lokiding Village and 1 person placed their faith in Christ. He and his team plan to do an outreach in Kangagetei-ber Village (15 kms/12.4 miles away) sometime in 2021. He is grateful for the support that he receives from his sponsor and asks you pray for strength for his church as they are rebuilding their structure after strong winds tore it down. On April 25th, he was commissioned along with 14 other missionaries to be embassadors of the Gospel to the Toposa People of South Sudan. He will be leaving for his new assignment, hopefully by the end of June.

    In November, Motivator John ministered to his churches. About 69 members attended services each Sunday in the mother church alone. He did an outreach in Napetan Village and 1 person placed their faith in Christ. He and his team plan to do an outreach in Kangagetei-ber and Lodakach Villages (15 miles away) in March of 2021. He is grateful for the support that he receives from his sponsor.

    October 

    In October, Motivator John ministered to his churches. About 76 members attended services each Sunday in the mother church alone. He did an outreach in Napetan Village and 2 people placed their faith in Christ. Napetan was a previously unreached village. He and his team plan to do an outreach in Kangagetei-ber Village (15 miles away) in 2021. He is grateful for the support that he receives from his sponsor.

    September 

    In September, Motivator John resumed services in his churches. About 90 members attended services each Sunday in the mother church alone. John has established 3 Lighthouses (Discipleship Groups) with 30 disciples attending. He and his team plan to reach Kangagetei-ber Village and plant a church there in November.

    March 

    In March, Motivator John shared the Word with the Village of Loding and at this time no one accepted Christ. An average of 179 believers attended the church services each Sunday in the mother church and the churches in Nayanae-Esikiriat Village and Elelea Village. One new member was added to the daughter church. John is grateful for the continued support and prayers from his sponsor. He is planning an outreach to Kangagetei Village in the future.

    February 2020

    In February, Motivator John shared the Word with the Village of Loding and one person accepted Christ. An average of 202 believers attended the church services each Sunday in the mother church and the churches in Nayanae-Esikiriat Village and Elelea Village. John is grateful for the continued support and prayers from his sponsor.

    January 

    In January, Motivator John shared the Word again with the people in the his village and 2 people accepted Christ. An average of 173 believers attended the church services each Sunday in the mother church and the churches in Nayanae-Esikiriat Village and Elelea Village. John is grateful for the continued support and prayers from his sponsor.

    November 

    In November, Missionary John shared the Word again with the people in the his village. An average of 169 believers attended the church services each Sunday. He is looking at Kangagetei-ber Village for future church planting. John is grateful for the continued support and prayers from his sponsor.

    October 

    In October, Missionary John shared the Word again with the people in the Village of Nakwei. An average of 195 believers attended the church services each Sunday. He is looking at Kangagetei-ber Village for future church planting. John is grateful for the continued support and prayers from his sponsor.

    September 

    In September, Missionary John shared the Word with the people in the Village of Nakwei, and 2 people gave their lives to Christ. An average of 145 believers attended the church services each Sunday. 2 new members joined the church. John is currently discipling one person. He is looking at Kangagetei-ber Village for future church planting. He prays that the Lord will provide healing for the sick in the villages. John is grateful for the continued support and prayers from his sponsor.

    August 

    In August, Missionary John Eipa shared the Word with the people in the Village of Napetan, and 2 people gave their lives to Christ. An average of 200 believers attend the church services on Sunday. He is looking at Kangagetei-ber Village for future church planting. He prays that the Lord will provide for the construction of a church shelter. John is grateful for the continued support and prayers from his sponsor.

    June 

    In June, Missionary John Eipa shared the Word with 80 people. An average of 194 believers attend the church services each Sunday. He is looking at Kangagetei-ber Village for future church planting. He prays that the Lord would provide for the completion of a church shelter. They already have 80 iron sheets completed, and 50 sheets are left to complete. He is grateful for the continued support and prayers.

    May 

    In May, Missionary John had an average of 77 members attend church each Sunday in the mother church. He disciples a class of 10 students. John has 7 elders/evangelists to help him with the ministry.

    April 

    In April, Missionary John Eipa reached the Ekilek-pus Village with the Gospel, and 2 people got saved. 84 believers attended the church services. He targets the Kangagetei-ber Village for future church planting. He prays that his people learn how to read and write. He is grateful for the continued support and prayers.

    March 

    In March, Missionary John Eipa reached the Ekilek-pus Village with the Gospel, and 4 people got saved. He discipled a class of 2 people. 99 believers attended the church services. He targets the Kangagetei-ber Village for future church planting. He prays that his people learn how to read and write. He is grateful for the continued support and prayers.

    February

    In February, Missionary John Eipa reached the Napetan Village, where 1 person got saved. He prays for an ECDE school. The biggest challenge he faces is walking long distances to visit other villages. John thanks the sponsor for their continued support and prayers.
