2023

December

In December, Motivator John reported that the people in Lochierangeringo Village keep livestock and sell charcoal and firewood to make a living. There are about 149 members in the church and 2 Champions that are each leading a Lighthouse. The 3 daughter churches are 9 to 25 miles away. John either rides a bicycle or hires a motorbike to take him to these villages on a weekly basis. There are 162 members in the 3 daughter churches combined. He has indentified 2 more unreached villages in his area that are 3-4 miles away and he plans on reaching them in 2024.

November

In November, Motivator John ministered in 4 churches. In the mother church, where an average of 82 members attended each Sunday. In the daughter churches:  Wapapet Village – 73 believers met; Tulabalony Village – 89 believers met; and Kameyen Village – 83 believers met. Four new members were added to the mother church and 6 to the daughter churches this month. Four disciples shared their faith stories with others. He did an outreach in Moruankorio Village and 6 people accepted Christ. John is grateful for the support he receives and for life.

September

In September, Motivator John ministered in 4 churches. In the mother church, where an average of 84 members attended each Sunday. In the daughter churches:  Ipeta Village – 40 believers met; Tulabalony Village – 85 believers met; and Kameyen Village – 108 believers met. Six new members were added to the mother church this month. Four disciples shared their faith stories with others. He did an outreach in Nabor Village and 8 people accepted Christ. John is grateful for the support he receives. He asks that you pray with him for strength to walk from village to village for the church to grow, and for clean water nearby.

August

In August, Motivator John ministered in the mother church where an average of 55 members attended church each Sunday. John is grateful for the support he receives and for God’s protection. He asks that you pray with him for strength to walk from village to village.

June

In June, Motivator John ministered in the mother church where an average of 49 members attended church each Sunday and 233 in the 3 daughter churches combined. John is grateful for the support he receives. He asks that you pray with him for strength to walk from village to village and for much needed rain.

May

In May, Motivator John ministered in his churches; an average of 49 members attended church in the mother church each Sunday. In the daughter churches: 82 in Wapet, 58 in Naurien Regae, and 93 in Tulabalany villages. John is grateful for the support he receives from his sponsor. He asks that you pray with him for strength to walk from village to village and for much needed rain.

In March, Motivator John ministered in the mother church where an average of 88 members attended church each Sunday. John is grateful for the support he receives from his sponsor and also for good health. He asks that you pray with him for strength to walk from village to village and for much needed rain.

February

In February, Motivator John ministered to his 3 churches. An average of 68 members attended church each Sunday in the mother church in Lorengo Village, 46 in the daughter church in Nabur Village, and 67 in Tulabalany Village. When he shared the Gospel message in Nakabuk Village 8 people accepted Christ! John is grateful for the support he receives from his sponsor and also for good health. He asks that you pray with him for strength to walk from village to village and for much needed rain.

January

In January, Motivator John ministered to his 3 churches. An average of 63 members attended church each Sunday in the mother church in Lorengo Village, 58 in the daughter church in Wapet Village, and 82 in Tulabalany Village. John is grateful for the support he receives from his sponsor and also for God’s unending goodness. He asks that you pray with him for strength as he finds walking difficult.

2022

December

In December, Motivator John reported that there are 149 members in the mother church in Lochier-Angerengo Village. In the daughter churches, there are 55 in Tulabany Village, 48 in Korikerei Village, and 59 in Moru-ebur Village. There are 6 Champions who are each leading their own Lighthouses where they are teaching disciples how to make disciples of others. John plans to reach 2 more villages in 2023 – Nakaabuk & Wapet!

November

In November, Motivator John ministered in 2 churches. About 64 members attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 103 attended in the daughter church in Wapet Village. John is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor. He is planning an outreach to Kakelai Village in January 2023.

October

In October, Motivator John held services in all 4 churches. About 61 members attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 179 attended in the 3 daughter churches combined. 6 people accepted Christ as Savior. John is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor. He is planning an outreach to Kakelai Village in January 2023.

September

In September, Motivator John held services in all 4 churches. About 71 members attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 215 attended in the 3 daughter churches combined. John is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor and for safety for the evangelism team as they travelled. He prays for the many that are migrating due to the drought.

August

In August, Motivator John held services in all 4 churches. About 70 members attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 184 attended in the 3 daughter churches combined. John is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor and for safety for the evangelism team as they travelled. The team was able to hand out 4 Audio Bibles, 4 hard copy Bibles, and 2 DMM Bookmarks. He prays for the many that are migrating due to the drought.

June

In June, Motivator John held services in 3 of his churches. About 100 members attended each Sunday in the mother church, 66 attended in the daughter church in Tulabalany Village, and 38 attended in the daughter church in Moru-ebur Village. 1 person accepted Christ as Savior. John is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor.

May

In May, Motivator John held services in all 4 churches. About 125 members attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 329 attended in the 3 daughter churches combined. John is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor. He prays that the church members will stay strong in the faith despite the challenges they face.

April

In April, Motivator John held services in all 4 churches. About 83 members attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 253 attended in the 3 daughter churches combined. There are now 42 disciples learning how to make disciples of others. John is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor and for the rain they received this month.

March

In March, Motivator John held services in all 4 churches. About 91 members attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 270 attended in the 3 daughter churches combined. Four new members were added to the mother church this month. John prays that the rains will come soon as the lack of rain is affecting every one’s lives. He is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor.

In February, Motivator John held services in all 4 churches. About 73 members attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 248 attended in the 3 daughter churches combined. John prays that the church leaders and members will continue seeking God at all times. He is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor.

January

In January, Motivator John reported that there are 149 members in the mother church in Luchier-angerengo Village, 55 in the daughter church in Tulabany Village, 48 in the daughter church in Korikerei Village, and 59 in the daughter church in Moruebur Village. He plans to reach 2 more villages with the Gospel in 2022 – Nakaabuk (5 kms away) and Wapet (7 kms away). There are 4 Lighthouses with 40 disciples learning how to make disciples of others.
