    November

    In November, James continued to minister in Oyamong, Ioriwo, Natiir and Kotak Villages. He also visited Nakorimomo Village. The people enjoy listening to the Word of God as well as visiting with us. 3 more people accepted Christ as Savior and 3 were baptized. He has been following up with the new believers weekly, encouraging them to spend time in prayer listening to God, to attend classes in the Lighthouses in their village and to make use of the DMM tools that they have been given. There are now 3 established Lighthouses in 4 villages with 30 disciples regularly attending. Four Audio Bibles were given out this month. James is grateful for the kindness and compassion that the villagers have shown to him and for the rain that has come. He asks you to pray with him for boldness and perserverance as they share the Gospel in Toposa.

    October

He has been following up with the new believers and encouraging them to share their faith with others and form prayer groups. He visits each village weekly. James is still training 6 believers as Champions and 3 Lighthouses were established. Three Audio Bibles and 2 DMM Bookmarks were given to believers this month. James is grateful to the Toposa people as they are very gracious and welcome him into their villages and homes. He asks you to pray with him for peace as the roads are unsafe travelling from southern Sudan into Kenya.

He has been following up with the new believers and encouraging them to share their faith with others and form prayer groups. He visits each village weekly.     In March, James continued sharing the Gospel in Oyamong, Ioriwo and Kotak Villages. The people are eager to hear more about Jesus and 3 people accepted Christ as Savior. He has been following up with the new believers and encouraging them to share their faith with others and form prayer groups. He visits each village weekly. James is still training 6 believers how to start their own discipleship groups and hopes to have Lighthouses formed soon. Two Audio Bibles and 2 DMM Bookmarks were given to believers this month. He is grateful to the Toposa people as they are very gracious and welcome him into their villages and homes and share what they have.  Some of the major challenges are unrest between the different tribes along the Kenya/South Sudan border, also the peace in the South Sudan presidential leadership teams.

    February

    In February, James returned from a time away in Turkana to continue sharing the Gospel in Oyamong, Ioriwo and Kotak Villages. The people welcomed him back and 2 people accepted Christ as Savior. He has been following up with the new believers and encouraging them to share their faith with others and form prayer groups. He visits each village weekly. James is still training 6 believers how to start their own discipleship groups. Three Audio Bibles and 4 DMM Bookmarks were given to believers this month. He is grateful to the Toposa people as they are very gracious and welcome him into their villages and homes.  Some of the major challenges are lack of education and lack of medical facility and agricultural skills.

Some of the major challenges are lack of education and lack of medical facility and security from raiding tribes.

James meets with them weekly. Some of the major challenges are lack of education, lack of medical facility, food shortage, and drought.

    May

    In May, James shared the Gospel in 3 Toposa villages – Oyamong, Loriwo, and Kotak. The people have been welcoming and enjoy hearing the Word of God, especially from the Audio Bible. 5 believers are being trained on how to start their own discipleship groups. Some of the major challenges are lack of education, lack of medical facility, food shortage, and drought.

    April

    In April, James continued sharing the Gospel and developing relationships in 3 Toposa villages – Napeichoke, Loriwo, and Kotak. 5 people accepted Christ as Savior. 3 believers are being trained how to be Champions; they should be forming Lighthouses soon. Some of the major challenges are lack of education, lack of medical facility, food shortage, and drought. James is grateful for the compassion and kindness of the Toposa people.

    March

    In March, James shared the Gospel in 3 Toposa villages – Napeichoke, Loriwo, and Kotak. The people have been welcoming and enjoy hearing the Word of God. 3 believers are being trained on how to start their own discipleship groups. Some of the major challenges are lack of education, lack of medical facility, food shortage, and drought. James states, “Spiritual warfare between the catholic, traditionalism, and protestant denominations in the region is hiking, and we need more prayer warriors on this barrier to the sharing of the gospel of Christ in Toposaland.”


    2021

    September

    In September, James and the rest of the Toposa Missionary Team traveled back to Kenya to attend driving lessons and receive their new motorbikes. The Team will head back to Toposa soon to continue with surveying, evangelizing, and establishing their mission base. James has handed off leadership of his churches in Turkanaland to a trained pastor, Peter Lonyait. More information on Peter and the churches/villages he serves will be available soon.

    August

    On August 16th, James (along with 6 other missionaries) left for their new calling to minister to the people of Toposa, South Sudan. James’ mother church in Simailele Village continued to meet each Sunday with about 49 members, and 1 person was saved when the Gospel was shared in Napeto Village. James is grateful for the support he receives from SHARE International. He requests prayers for God’s favor and protection in his new mission field in Toposaland.

    July

    In July, Motivator James again shared the Gospel in Napatio Village, and 2 people accepted Christ. He also ministered in 2 of his churches. Approximately 53 members attended each Sunday in the mother church in Simailele Village, and 24 attended in the daughter church in Kekosowan Village. He is planning an outreach in Kariwolee Village (15 kms/9.3 miles away) in July of this year. James is grateful for SHARE International and the support that he receives. He would also like prayers for him as he travels from village to village. His paperwork is complete and he is eager to leave for South Sudan to his new mission field.

    June

    In June, Motivator James again shared the Gospel in Kimirik Village, and 1 person accepted Christ. He also ministered in 2 of his churches. Approximately 51 members attended each Sunday in the mother church in Simailele Village, and 25 attended in the daughter church in Kekosowan Village. He is planning an outreach in Kariwolee Village (15 kms/9.3 miles away) in July of this year. James is grateful for SHARE International and the support that he receives. He would also like prayers for him as he travels from village to village. His paperwork is complete and he is eager to leave for South Sudan to his new mission field in July.

    May

Approximately 54 members attended each Sunday in the mother church in Simailele Village, and 32 attended in the daughter church in Kekosowan Village. He now has 2 more disciples being trained to share their faith. He is planning an outreach in Kariwolee Village (15 kms/9.3 miles away) in July of this year. James is grateful for SHARE International and the support that he receives. He would also like prayers for him as he travels from village to village. He is continuing to work on his paper work to leave to his new mission field in South Sudan.

    April

    In April, Motivator James reached and shared the Gospel in Napeto Village, and 1 person accepted Christ. He also ministered in 2 of his churches. Approximately 46 members attended each Sunday in the mother church in Simailele Village, and 27 attended in the daughter church in Kekosowan Village. He is planning an outreach in Kariwolee Village in May (15 kms/9.3 miles away). James is grateful for SHARE International and the support that he receives. He would also like prayers for him as he travels from village to village. On April 25th, he was commissioned along with 14 other missionaries to be embassadors of the Gospel to the Toposa People of South Sudan. He will be leaving for his new assignment, hopefully by the end of June.
