    2023

    December

    In December, Monitor Peter reported that the people of Nawoyatira Village are pastoralists. In the mother church there are 77 members that attend church regularly. The 3 Champions are each leading a Lighthouse and the 33 disciples have led 5 people to Christ in 2023. The  daughter church church is about 9 miles away and Peter meets with the 55 members in this church weekly. The 3 Champions in this church are also each leading a Lighthouse and the 14 disicples here have led 10 more people to Christ in 2023.

    November

    In November, Monitor Peter ministered in both churches. About 90 attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 54 attended in the daughter church in Loya Village. Two new members joined the mother church this month and seven disciples shared their faith stories with others. Peter is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor. He asks you to continue to pray with him for much needed rain and for the families in the church.

    October

    In October, Monitor Peter ministered in both churches. About 134 attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 60 attended in the daughter church in Loya Village. Peter is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor. He asks you to continue to pray with him for much needed rain.

    September

    In September, Monitor Peter ministered in both churches. About 73 attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 44 attended in the daughter church in Loya Village. Peter is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor. He asks you to continue to pray with him for God to strengthen the leaders and protect them, and for much needed rain.

    August

    In August, Monitor Peter ministered in both churches. About 85 attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 65 attended in the daughter church in Loya Village. Four new members joined the mother church. Four disciples shared their faith with others. Peter is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor. He asks you to continue to pray with him for the church in Turkana and that they could receive more hard-copy Bibles and for the outreach that they will be doing soon.

    July

    In July, Monitor Peter ministered in both churches. About 70 attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 49 attended in the daughter church. Two new members joined the mother church. Seven disciples shared their faith with others. Peter is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor. He asks you to continue to pray with him for the church in Turkana and that they could receive more hard-copy Bibles.

    June

    In June, Monitor Peter ministered in both churches. About 85 attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 69 attended in the daughter church in Loya Village. Two new members joined the mother church. Peter is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor. He prays for more souls to be healed.

    May

    In May, Monitor Peter ministered in both churches. About 91 attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 64 attended in the daughter church. Seven new members joined the mother church. Nine disciples shared their faith with others. Peter is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor. He asks you to continue to pray with him for rain and for protection from the enemy.

    April

    In April, Monitor Peter ministered in both churches. About 88 attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 50 attended in the daughter church. Peter is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor and also for healing people in his church from diseases. He asks you pray with him that they could receive more hard copy Bibles.

    March

    In March, Monitor Peter ministered in both churches. About 90 attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 72 attended in the daughter church. Peter is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor and also for the much needed rain. He asks you to continue to pray with him for the drought that continues.

    February

    In February, Monitor Peter ministered in both churches. About 92 attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 67 attended in the daughter church. There are 3 Champions teaching 39 disciples how to make disciples of others. Peter is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor and asks that you pray with him for much needed rain.

    January

    In January, Monitor Peter ministered in both churches. About 77 attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 56 attended in the daughter church. There are 3 Champions teaching 33 disciples how to make disciples of others. Peter is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor.


    2022

    December

    In December, Monitor Peter reported that there are 70 members in the mother church in Nawoyatira Village and 40 members in the daughter church in Loya Village. He plans to reach 2 more villages with the Gospel in 2023.

    November

    In November, Monitor Peter ministered in the mother church where about 110 members attended each Sunday. Six new members were added to the mother church this month. Peter is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor. He prays rain and for strength in reaching more people with the Word of God.

    October

    In October, Monitor Peter ministered in both churches. About 84 members attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 98 attended in the daughter church in Loya Village. Peter is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor. He prays rain and for strength in reaching more people with the Word of God.

    September

    In September, Monitor Peter ministered in both churches. About 115 members attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 93 attended in the daughter church. Peter is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor. He prays for strength in reaching more people with the Word of God.

    In July, Monitor Peter ministered in both churches. About 92 members attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 79 attended in the daughter church. Peter is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor.

    June

    In June, Monitor Peter shared the Gospel in the mother church, and about 62 members attended each Sunday. Church attendance and Lighthouse meetings are inconsistent due to migration of believers in search of water and pasture. Peter is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor.

    May

    In May, Monitor Peter shared the Gospel in the mother church, and about 89 members attended each Sunday. 5 people accepted Christ as Savior. Peter is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor.

    April

    In April, Monitor Peter ministered to his church families. About 102 believers met in the mother church each Sunday to worship and hear a message from God’s Word. He is grateful for the 3 villagers that accepted Christ this past month when the Gospel message was shared. He asks that you pray with him for the many that are suffering due to the drought and famine. Peter is grateful for the support that he receives.

    March

    In March, Monitor Peter ministered to his church families. About 91 believers met in the mother church each Sunday to worship and hear a message from God’s Word and 45 believers met in the daughter church. He asks that you pray with him as his congregation is planning on raising funds so that they can have a church building and also for the many that are suffering due to the drought and famine. Peter is grateful for the support that he receives and asks that you pray with him for strength as he walks from village to village.

    February

    In February, Monitor Peter ministered to his church families. About 111 believers met in the mother church each Sunday to worship and hear a message from God’s Word and 34 believers met in the daughter church. He asks that you pray with him as his congregation is planning on raising funds so that they can have a church building. Peter is grateful for the support that he receives and asks that you pray with him for strength as he walks from village to village.

    January

    In January, Monitor Peter ministered in both churches 3 times each week. About 102 members attended church each Sunday in the mother church, and 30 attended in the daughter church. Peter is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor and asks that you pray with him for all the missionaries in Turkana that God would continue to give them strength and especially strength for Peter as he walks from village to village. He has an outreach planned later in the year in a village not too far away.

    December

    In December, Monitor Peter ministered in both churches. About 114 members attended church each Sunday in the mother church, and 18 attended in the daughter church. Peter is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor and asks that you pray with him for all the missionaries in Turkana that God would continue to give them strength and especially strength for Peter as he walks from village to village.

    November

    In November, Monitor Peter ministered in both churches. About 105 members attended church each Sunday in the mother church, and 36 attended in the daughter church. Peter is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor and asks that you pray with him for the drought in his area.

    In October, Monitor Peter ministered in both churches. About 99 members attended church each Sunday in the mother church, and 41 attended in the daughter church. Peter is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor.

    In September, Monitor Peter ministered in his home village and Loya Village. Approximately 80members attended church each Sunday in the mother church and 50 in the daughter church. He is planning an outreach to Kotela Village and Lokiriemet Village both 15 kms/9.3 miles away, sometime next year. Peter is grateful for the support he receives from his sponsor and asks that you pray with him for strength as he walks from village to village.

    In August, Monitor Peter ministered in his home village and Loya Village. Approximately 146 members attended church each Sunday in the mother church and 107 in the daughter church. He is planning an outreach to Kotela Village and Lokiriemet Village both 15 kms/9.3 miles away, sometime next year. Peter is grateful for the support he receives from his sponsor and asks that you pray with him for strength as he walks from village to village.

    July

    In July, Monitor Peter ministered in his home village and Loya Village. Approximately 175 members attended church each Sunday in the mother church and 118 in the daughter church. He is planning an outreach to Kotela Village and Lokiriemet Village both 15 kms/9.3 miles away, sometime next year. Peter is grateful for the support he receives from his sponsor and asks that you pray with him for strength as he walks from village to village and also prayers for leaders of the country.

    June

    In June, Monitor Peter ministered in his home village and 83 members attended church each Sunday. 47 members met in the 2 daughter churches combined. He is planning an outreach to Kotela Village and Lokiriemet Village both 15 kms/9.3 miles away, sometime next year. Peter is grateful for the support he receives from his sponsor and asks that you pray with him for strength as he walks from village to village and also prayers for the villages that they are planning outreaches in that the peoples hearts will be open to hear the Gospel.

    In May, Monitor Peter ministered in his home village and 101 members attended church each Sunday. 67 members met in the 2 daughter churches combined. He is planning an outreach to Kotela Village, 15 kms/9.3 miles away, sometime next year. Peter is grateful for the support he receives from his sponsor.

    April

    In April, Monitor Peter ministered in his home village and 95 members attended church each Sunday. 39 members met in the 2 daughter churches combined. Peter also did an outreach in Loima Girls Village this month and one person made a decision to follow Christ. This was a previously unreached village! Peter is grateful for the support he receives from his sponsor.
