The following Statement of Faith is subscribed to by Share International, Inc., adopted January 23, 1993, and now contained in Article VII: “Doctrinal Statement” of the Constitution of Share International, Inc.

This doctrinal statement may never be changed. The fundamental spiritual principles of Share International, Inc. (SI) are based upon Scripture as follows.

We believe:

Section A. Triune God: In one living and true God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Section B. God the Father: In God, the Father, an infinite, personal spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power, and love. We believe that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of people, that He hears and answers prayer, and that He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ.

Section C. Jesus Christ: That Jesus Christ is true God and true man, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins according to the Scriptures. Further, He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, where at the right hand of the Majesty on High, He is now our High Priest and Advocate.

Section D. Holy Spirit: That the Holy Spirit glorifies the Lord Jesus Christ, and during this age convicts people, regenerates the believing sinner, indwells, guides, instructs, and empowers the believer for godly living and service.

Section E. Inspiration and Inerrancy of Scriptures: The Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, to be the inspired Word of God, without error in the original writings, the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of people and the Divine and final authority for all matters of faith and conduct.

Section F. Humanity: That humanity was created in the image of God but fell into sin and is therefore lost and under condemnation and that only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit can salvation and spiritual life be obtained.

Section G. Atonement: That the shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provide the only ground for justification and salvation for all who believe, and only such as receive Jesus Christ are born of the Holy Spirit, and thus become children of God.

Section H. Church: That the true Church is composed of all such persons who through saving faith in Jesus Christ have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and are united together in the body of Christ of which He is the Head.

Section I. Second coming of Christ: In the visible and bodily return of the Lord Jesus Christ to earth and the establishment of His kingdom.

Section J. Resurrection of All Humanity: In the bodily resurrection of the dead; of the believer to everlasting blessedness and joy with the Lord, of the unbeliever to judgment and everlasting conscious punishment.

Section K. The Great Commission: The Lord Jesus Christ commanded all believers to proclaim the gospel throughout the world and to disciple people from every nation.
