In April 2021, SHARE commissioned Peter along with 14 other missionaries to begin outreach to the Toposa people of South Sudan. Peter is originally from Toposa but had been living in Turkana, Kenya. He has served as a Sunday School teacher and an associate pastor.

2023
APril
In April, Missionary Peter continued sharing the Gospel in Meriye, Nalukupeta, and Nakwaare Villages. He also shared the Gospel in 2 new villages: Naturu-beyo and Lopei-mugee. 4 people accepted Christ. He is again meeting with the believers weekly, encouraging them, listening to the Audio Bible with them and teaching them how to pray. Peter is training 3 believers to be Champions of a Lighthouse and 3 Lighthouses were established this month. He distributed 4 Audio Bibles, and 4 DMM Bookmarks. Consumption of alcohol and illicit drugs is prevelant in this area and he prays that the truth of God’s Word will make a difference in these peoples lives and that they would not be dependant on those vises any more. He is grateful for the rains that have come and are praying for more.
March
In March, Missionary Peter continued sharing the Gospel in Meriye, Nalukupeta, and Nakwaare Villages. 4 people accepted Christ. He continues meeting with the believers weekly, encouraging them, listening to the Audio Bible with them and teaching them how to pray. Peter is training 3 believers how to start their own discipleship groups (Lighthouses). He is teaching them to share their faith stories with each other so that it becomes a natural part of them. He was able to distribute 2 Audio Bibles, and 2 DMM Bookmarks. Consumption of alcohol and illicit drugs is prevelant in this area and he prays that the truth of God’s Word will make a difference in these peoples lives and that they would not be dependant on those vises any more. He is grateful that he was able to heal completely from his illness and is now back in the mission field. He is grateful to God for the openness and receptiveness of the Toposa people.
February
In February, Missionary Peter returned to Toposa after spending time with family in Turkana. He continued sharing the Gospel in Meriye, Nalukupeta, and Nakwaare Villages. 2 people accepted Christ. He is again meeting with the believers weekly, encouraging them, listening to the Audio Bible with them and teaching them how to pray. Peter is training 3 believers how to start their own discipleship groups (Lighthouses). He is teaching them what it means to do a prayer walk in their village. He was able to distribute 5 Audio Bibles, and 2 DMM Bookmarks. Consumption of alcohol and illicit drugs is prevelant in this area and he prays that the truth of God’s Word will make a difference in these peoples lives and that they would not be dependant on those vises any more. He is grateful that he was able to heal completely from his illness and is now back in the mission field.

He meets with the believers weekly, encouraging them and teaching them how to pray. Peter is training 4 believers how to start their own discipleship groups (Lighthouses). He’s happy to see the new believers getting together to listen to the Audio Bible and practice with the signage bookmark. They are grateful for the rains they have been receiving.
August

June
In June, Peter continued sharing the Gospel in Naregere, Nakwaare, and Naluringok-peta Villages. 8 people accepted Christ. Peter will continue ministering in these villages on a weekly basis. 3 believers are being trained on how to start their own discipleship groups (Lighthouses). Peter is encouraged as the new believers get together to listen to the Audio Bible and practice with the signage bookmark. Lighthouses should be forming soon.
May
In May, Peter shared the Gospel in 3 Toposa villages – Naregere, Nakwaare, and Naluringok -peta. The villagers have been positive and happy to hear the Gospel. 4 people accepted Christ this month in these villages. 3 believers are being trained on how to start their own discipleship groups (Lighthouses). Peter is encouraged as the new believers get together to listen to the Audio Bible and practise with the signage bookmark. He is grateful for the motorbikes that they have been given that help them reach the villages.
April
In April, Peter continued sharing the Gospel and developing relationships in 2 Toposa villages – Napegere and Nakware. 3 people accepted Christ as Savior. 3 believers are being trained to be Champions; they should be forming Lighthouses soon. Peter prays for rain and for the new believers to share their faith with others.
March
In March, Peter shared the Gospel in 3 Toposa villages – Napegere, Nakware, and Nalokupeta. The villagers have been positive and happy to hear the Gospel. 3 believers are being trained on how to start their own discipleship groups (Lighthouses). Peter states, “Catholic missions are creating confusion and a bad influence on the people about the protestant or evangelical mission groups. Pray with us that God will shower Toposaland with good rains and encourage the evangelical missionaries to share Christ without fear.”
