“How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, “Your God reigns!” – Isaiah 52:7

In May, the Nyang’atom Missionary Team visited 28 villages. The people they encountered were eager to hear the Gospel message. As a result 34 accepted Christ. These new believers will be visited again soon by someone from the team. They have been encouraged to share their story with people they encounter, to listen to the Audio Bible so that they can learn more about God’s love for them and to join an existing Lighthouse in their community. Currently there are 105 Champions leading Lighthouses in 30 villages with 983 disciples attending! The team distributed 30 Audio Bibles and 30 DMM Signage Bookmarks in May.
Please continue to pray for safety for the Nyang’atom Team as there has been unrest in the area that they minister in. They are thankful for the response of the Nyang’atom people to the Gospel message and for the rains that have come. Continue to pray for those that have made a decision to follow Christ, that they would grow in their walk with God.

The Next-Gen Coordinator, Mary Esinyen, and Frontier Outreach Coordinator, Jackson Erus, traveled to Paring’a Cluster in Toposaland on May 18th to hold Children’s Ministry DMM training for the Evangelists and Champions in Toposaland between May 19th and 23rd. Their goal was to empower God’s servants to own and commit to teaching children and youth to share Christ among their own tribe and birth a sustainable healthy Sunday School Ministry in Toposaland. The curriculum used was specifically designed for reaching children.
Altogether, 65 Missionaries, Evangelists and Champions attended the training, with representatives from each of the four clusters. All were active and participated in the training and interactive sessions. The participants were eager to learn and wanted the Team to return to hold more training sessions sometime in the future.
Mary and Jackson challenged the Toposa Missionary Team to follow up with the trainees and encourage them in their ministry. A Champion named Marko also encouraged them. He had already started a Sunday School Class in his newly-formed church and was excited to use the new tools and training to reach the children in his village! Mary and Jackson distributed 60 Audio Bibles and 60 DMM Signage Bookmarks to the Champions in attendance.
The literacy level is low in this area; so the need for Audio Bibles and DMM Signage Bookmarks is great.

KALOBEYEI ZONE
Between May 6th and 8th, Jacktan Kachi (Turkana Outreach Coordinator) and Wilson Lopungurei (Kalobeyei Zone Representative) were in Kalobeyei Zone speaking with village elders in Ekaburu Village (pop. 310) about planting a church in the village. They also visited 3 other nearby villages: Lomidat (pop. 500), Esekon (pop. 170) and Ayelel (pop. 150) and spoke with the elders of these villages as well. These villages are currently unreached and dominated by unhealthy cultural and traditional doctrines. The village elders agreed that Share could plant a church in Ekaburu Village and screen The Jesus Film in all four villages. Outreach ministry to these villages then occurred between June 11th and 15th.

CHOKCHOK ZONE
Due to heavy rains in Kalobeyei Zone making roads undriveable and unrest in Lokori Zone making the area unsafe, the outreach team from Lodwar decided to do outreach in Chokchok Zone. They contacted the zone’s representative – Wilson Ekamais Lopii – who informed the team that there was a cluster of four villages that would benefit from having the team come and share the Gospel message with them. So, between May 26th and 30th the team visited the four villages – Nasigiria, Nakkorio, Narii, and Kadakakeny and did homestead-to-homestead evangelism and screened The Jesus Film.
There are about 50 homesteads in Nasigirai Village. The team was able to visit about 16 of them. About 135 people attended the screening of the film. A total of 179 people heard the Gospel message; 47 accepted Christ!
In Nakorio, the team visited 13 of the 33 homesteads. They also screened The Jesus Film. A total of 151 people heard the Gospel message and 27 accepted Christ!
In Narii, the team visited 28 of the 43 homesteads. They screened The Jesus Film as well. A total of 157 people heard the Gospel message and 33 accepted Christ!
In Kadakakeny, the team visited 22 of the 54 homesteads. They screened The Jesus Film with a total of 249 people hearing the Gospel message with 44 accepting Christ as Savior!
The team was able to distribute 9 Audio Bibles to church members to use as they share the Gospel message with their neighbors. The people of this area have suffered from drought and insecurity, causing them to migrate. Continue to pray for them, that they would grow in their walk with God.

BETENBOUGH-MORUANGITAK SENDING CENTER
(Est. October 2023)
The pupils are learning their basic language and math skills and are being taught how much God loves them. Recently the class memorized Psalm 119:11, “I have hidden your Word in my heart that I might not sin against you.” The children enjoy singing songs, playing games, and learning the “3/3” DMM format designed for children to aid them in sharing their faith with others. Much of the instruction in the classroom is done in the Turkana language, but the children are also learning some English.

BETENBOUGH-NAKUK SENDING CENTER
(Est. July 2023)
The Betenbough-Nakuk Sending Center is also used every day of the week. Peter Ekai teaches the 30 pupils Monday through Friday. On Saturday the youth use the building for choir practice and clean the building to get it ready for Sunday worship. Pastor Joseph Loli meets with the congregation on Sunday. There are about 50 people that attend services here each Sunday.
The pupils are taught basic skills; learning the alphabet and numbers. They have learned the story of Creation and basic hygiene skills.
