Who Can Describe the Power of God’s Word to Change Lives?
- Does the Bible-Believing Christian have the compassion, passion, and intentional willingness and action to make possible the Living Word-soul/spirit contact happen among the unbelievers out there so decision to believe or reject truth presented is made?
- Does that Bible-Believing Church have what it takes (obedience to the Great Commission) to deliver the Spoken/Written Living Word to the unbeliever-masses out there that are still waiting (some willingly ignorant and others oblivious – 2 Peter 3:5; 1 Corinthians 2:14-15) to hear the Word for the very first time?
Only you as a believer can answer the first question. For the second question… I believe the Lord has provided His Church ALL that it would take (“feet” on the ground and the wherewithal – Romans 10:15) for the believer to personally engage and/or facilitate the necessary encounter between the unbeliever’s soul/spirit and the Living, Active, Penetrating, Dividing, and Judging Life-Giving Word of God, without which New Birth in Christ would not happen.
For us at Share, God has already raised dedicated and willing indigenous “feet” on the ground among the people-groups where He has called us to reach and make the Word-soul/spirit contact happen. But the “feet” must have in their possession the Living Word in the language of the people-groups first so as to share with them. And that’s what the Bible Kits (BK) Initiative is all about. I invite you to help us make the “contact” happen by saturating the Turkana, Toposa, and Nyang’atom people-groups with 25,000 BKs in the next 3 years. We are making good progress towards that goal. Hallelujah! The Thermometer at the end of this SEED bulletin indicates how much has been raised so far towards the target 7,000 BKs for 2025. Will you come alongside us and help change lives eternally through the power of the Word of God?

Between April 14th and 18th, the Share Frontiers Outreach Coordinator, Jackson Erus, and Next-Gen Coordinator, Mary Esinyen, conducted DMM & Sunday School Teachers training in Nyang’atomland. They did this to empower Sunday School Teachers, Missionaries, and Champions to share the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, make disciples of others, and establish Sunday School classes throughout Nyang’atomland using the contextualized 3/3 DMM Methodology and tools for children. Sixty Champions and 15 Missionaries attended the training. The participants were very engaged and active in the discussion and learning sessions. They were ready to embrace the teachings. The challenge is that the literacy rate is extremely low; so more Audio Bibles and DMM signage bookmarks (BKs) are needed. Sunday School classes have yet to be established in Nyang’atomland, but hopefully that will change soon now that they have been trained how to do so. Jackson and Mary will be conducting this same training in Toposaland and Turkanaland as well.
It had been raining during the training, and after the training was over it was discovered that the nearby Nakuwa River had risen significantly and had to be crossed on foot! Fortunately, Jackson and Mary had the foresight to drive their vehicle across river the day before.

The Nyang’atom Missionary Team visited 16 villages in April. The people responded very positively to the Gospel message, with 36 people accepting Christ. These new believers were encouraged to join an established Lighthouse where they will be discipled in their walk with Christ. They will learn how to share their faith story with others, listen to the Audio Bible, pray together, and grow in their faith. The team will return to these villages in about 2 weeks to continue to teach and encourage the believers.
There are 90 Champions leading Lighthouses in 16 villages with 848 disciples in attendance. In April, the team distributed 150 Audio Bibles and 28 DMM Signage Bookmarks.
Continue to pray for the safety of the missionaries, as there is unrest between the Turkana and Nyang’atom tribes.

The Toposa Missionary Team ministered in 36 villages and reached 20 new villages in April. They are finding that the indigenous Champions are committed to owning the mission work in Toposaland. Because of their commitment, 38 people gave their lives to Christ during the weekly sharing of the Word. The team thanks God for providing rain, as there was enough water for baptisms Four believers were baptized. The new believers are encouraged to share their God story with their neighbors and draw closer to God through prayer life in their villages and homesteads regularly. They are also encouraged to attend the formed Lighthouses in their respective villages. There are now 159 Champions leading 1,352 disciples in 101 villages! The Lighthouses in 4 of the villages have joined together to become churches! Thus, 4 new churches have been born! The team will check in on each of the villages weekly.
Another 46 Audio Bibles and 38 DMM Signage Bookmarks were distributed. Pray for peace and reconciliation to prevail and for barriers to Gospel expansion to be broken in Jesus’ Name.

Homestead-to-homestead evangelism, screening of The Jesus Film, weekly fellowship, and DMM Methodology teachings are all ongoing in Turkanaland. In April, the Share Team focused on Kachoda Zone. Kachoda Zone is in the northern region of Turkana County. It borders South Sudan, Ethiopia, and Lake Turkana. Share has 7 Motivators that oversee 12 churches and 45 Lighthouses in this zone.
The team focused their evangelism on two villages: Kopotea and Akiriges. Over 4 days, they did homestead-to-homestead evangelism, screened The Jesus Film, held open-air meetings, and held age/gender-appropriate ministry teachings. They shared the Gospel with over 900 people during the outreach, with 164 people accepting Christ and 37 baptized! A new church was planted! Ninety-four people committed to attending this church, which will be under the leadership of Motivator John Ebei Lokiria. Ten of these new converts accepted the responsibility to be trained as Champions. There are still 6 unreached villages in this zone. Plans are in place to reach them over the next 2 years.
The number of disciples has increased in Kachoda Zone because the believers are doing homestead-to-homestead evangelism in their villages. They are also listening to their Audio Bibles regularly and inviting their neighbors to join them. Another 40 Audio Bibles were distributed in April, and more will be distributed to the remaining Champions that do not have one. Continue to pray for the new believers as they grow in their walk with God.
