Pastor Gary Kirst is the Vice Chairman of the Share’s International Board of Directors.

Gary has been a pastor at the Galena Bible Church for the past 30 years.  He met Sammy Murimi, Share Founder, back in seminary at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Chicago.  Gary’s first trip to Turkana came in 2001 when he led a team from his church.  He got hooked!  He has since returned 11 more times, with a special emphasis on training our Turkana missionary-pastors in expository preaching. He has happily served on the board since 2004.
