Praises & Petitions from Turkanaland: Week 25

WEEK OF NOVEMBER 16th, 2020
In September, Adult Literacy (AL) classes were able to resume after COVID restrictions were lifted. As of end of October, there are 999 students attending in all 30 classes in 8 zones, learning how to read and write. Each teacher also leads at least one Lighthouse. A total of 241 students are enrolled in Lighthouses. The disciples led 30 people to a saving faith in Christ in October alone using the DMM methodology! See chart below for more details.
Pray with us that Lokori and Kalemng’orok Zones will establish AL classes, and that many more students will learn how to read the Bible for themselves.
PRAISE
- Construction of the Lorugum Zone DMM Center is underway!
PETITIONS
- Healing for Motivator Peter Ewoton of Kachoda Zone
- Protection of Motivators and church members from coronavirus
- Reconstruction of Monitor John Ebei’s house which collapsed due to strong winds
- Gospel to continue to spread throughout Turkanaland
