Praises & Petitions from Turkanaland: Week 17

WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 21st, 2020
SHARE recently elected new Monitors for Kalemng’orok Zone – Johnson Ewoi, James Lomudang, and David Ing’olan. James Muchu, who was previously a Monitor, has now become the Coordinator of the Zone. Learn more about these roles at shareint.org/dmm.
The Monitors reported that the Disciple-Making Movement is progressing in their churches and has accelerated the reproduction of believers tremendously. Their mother churches are located in Korinyang, Simailele, and Lopur respectively. They have also planted daughter churches in 6 other remote villages. Among these 9 total churches, are 15 Lighthouses with 100 disciples learning how to become disciple-makers in their villages. Pray with us that the Monitors will reach 3 more unreached targeted villages with the Gospel before the end of this year and that Lighthouses will be started in those villages.
Watch the video testimony below to hear from a former bandit who has turned to Christ and now shares the Word with others in his village.
The Monitors are in need of support. We request you to consider sponsoring one of them at $2,400/year. For more information about them visit their profiles here: David, James, and Johnson.
