2023

December

In December, Motivator Thomas reported that the people of Lopusiki Village make their living by making charcoal, selling firewood, and raising livestock. There are 111 members that attend services regularly in the mother church. The Champion is leading 20 disciples and these disciples have led 18 more people to Christ in 2023. Thomas travels by motorbike 6 miles to the daughter churches weekly. There are 125 members that attend services there. The 3 disciples are each leading a Lighthouse and the 9 disciples have led 17 others to Christ in 2023. Thomas has identified 2 unreached villages about 6-8 miles from the mother church and he plans on sharing the Gospel with the people there in 2024.

November

In November, Motivator Thomas held services in all 3 churches. About 102 attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 227 attended in the 2 daughter churches combined. Three disciples shared their faith stories with others. Thomas is thankful for the rain but it also makes the paths to slippery for the believers to come to church.

October

In October, Motivator Thomas held services in all 3 churches. About 91 attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 236 attended in the 2 daughter churches combined. Six disciples shared their faith stories with others. He distributed 9 Audio Bibles this month and 5 DMM Bookmarks. Thomas prays for strength as he walks from village to village, and that he might receive more DMM tools.

September

In September, Motivator Thomas held services in all 3 churches. About 91 attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 246 attended in the 2 daughter churches combined. 3 disciples shared their faith stories with others. He distributed 3 Audio Bibles this month. Thomas is thankful for the Audio Bibles that he was able to distribute to believers. He prays for strength as he walks from village to village, for the believers that are migrating and for much needed rain.

August

In August, Motivator Thomas held services in all 3 churches. About 115 attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 300 attended in the 2 daughter churches combined. 4 disciples shared their faith stories with others. Thomas prays for the believers to grow in their faith and for strength as he walks from village to village.

July

In July, Motivator Thomas held services in all 3 churches. About 112 attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 280 attended in the 2 daughter churches combined. 5 disciples shared their faith stories with others and 3 believers joined the daughter churches. Thomas prays for the church leadership.

June

In June, Motivator Thomas held services in all 3 churches. About 92 attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 236 attended in the 2 daughter churches combined. Thomas prays for the missionaries in Turkanaland.

May

In May, Motivator Thomas held services in all 3 churches. About 97 attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 249 attended in the 2 daughter churches combined. Six disciples shared their faith stories and led others to Christ. He was able to distribute 9 Audio Bibles and 5 DMM Bookmarks. Thomas asks that you pray with him for strength as he walks from village to village.

April

In April, Motivator Thomas held services in all 3 churches. About 112 attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 257 attended in the 2 daughter churches combined. Six disciples shared their faith stories and led others to Christ. Thomas is thankful for the gift of life and good health. He asks that you pray with him for the many suffering from hunger.

March

In March, Motivator Thomas held services in all 3 churches. About 97 attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 249 attended in the 2 daughter churches combined. Three disciples shared their faith stories and led others to Christ. Thomas is thankful for the rains and asks that you pray with him for strength as he walks from village to village.

February

In February, Motivator Thomas held services in all 3 churches. About 95 attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 252 attended in the 2 daughter churches combined. Six disciples shared their faith stories and led others to Christ. Thomas was able to distribute 9 Audio Bibles and 5 DMM Bookmarks this month. He is thankful for life and asks that you pray with him for rain.

January

In January, Motivator Thomas held services in all 3 churches. About 103 attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 190 attended in the 2 daughter churches combined. There are 2 Champions teaching 11 disciples how to make disciples of others. Thomas plans to reach Lomerimagal Village (18 kms away) with the Gospel by July 2023.

2022

December

In December, Motivator Thomas reported that there are 111 members in the mother church in Lopusiki Village. In the daughter churches, there are 75 members in Lomilimil Village, and 50 in Namon Village. There are 4 Champions who are each leading their own Lighthouse where they are teaching disciples how to make disciples of others. Thomas plans to reach 2 more villages in 2023 – Lomorimagal & Kanakuring!

October

In October, Motivator Thomas ministered in 2 churches. About 146 members attended each Sunday in the mother church in Lopusiki Village, and 162 attended in the daughter church in Lomilmil Village. Sixty-five believers were also baptized in Lomilmil Village this month! Thomas praises God for bringing all these people into the church and asks for prayer for strength as he walks from village to village and for rain for the area.

September

In September, Motivator Thomas ministered in 2 churches. About 94 members attended each Sunday in the mother church in Lopusiki Village, and 174 attended in the daughter church in Lomilmil Village.

August

In August, Motivator Thomas ministered in both churches. About 100 members attended each Sunday in the mother church in Lopusiki Village, and 154 attended in the daughter church in Lomilmil Village.

July

In July, Motivator Thomas ministered in both churches. About 94 members attended each Sunday in the mother church in Lopusiki Village, and 167 attended in the daughter church in Lomilmil Village. SHARE staff and the STORM Team assisted in planting a church in Namon Villager, that Thomas will oversee. 169 people were saved, and 69 were baptized!

June

In June, Motivator Thomas ministered in both churches. About 102 members attended each Sunday in the mother church in Lopusiki Village, and 189 attended in the daughter church in Lomilmil Village. The new Sending Center has been constructed in Lomilmil Village. It will be used to train children and youth how to be disciple-makers.

May

In May, Motivator Thomas ministered in both churches. About 118 members attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 180 attended in the daughter church. There are 11 disciples learning how to make disciples of others.

April

In April, Motivator Thomas ministered in both churches. About 97 members attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 104 attended in the daughter church. One new members was added to the mother church this month and 2 to the daughter church. He plans to reach another village with the Gospel sometime this year. Thomas is grateful to SHARE International for their support and asks you to pray with him for the many suffering because of the drought.

March

In March, Motivator Thomas ministered in both churches. About 75 members attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 120 attended in the daughter church. He plans to reach another village with the Gospel sometime this year.

February

In February, Motivator Thomas ministered in both churches. About 83 members attended each Sunday in the mother church in Lopusiki Village, and 79 attended in the daughter church in Lomimil Village. Thomas is grateful to SHARE International for their continued support. He also asks for prayer for strength as he walks from village to village and for the believers who are migrating because of the drought.

In January, Motivator Thomas ministered to his church families on a weekly basis. The villagers collect firewood, make charcoal or raise livestock for their livelihood. He has one outreach planned for 2022 so far. He continues to do homestead-to-homestead evangelism in the villages where he has churches established. Thomas is grateful for the support that he receives from SHARE International.

2021

December

In December, Motivator Thomas ministered in both churches! About 96 members attended each Sunday in the mother church in Lopusiki Village, and 95 attended in the new daughter church in Lomimil Village. Thomas is grateful to God for the good health that they have had this past year and to SHARE International for their continued support. He also asks for prayer for strength as he walks from village to village and for the believers who are migrating because of the drought.

October

In October, Motivator Thomas ministered in both churches! About 102 members attended each Sunday in the mother church in Lopusiki Village, and 80 attended in the new daughter church in Lomimil Village.

September

In September, a church was planted in Lomimil Village with attendance of 98 members! About 94 members attended each Sunday in the mother church in Lopusiki Village. Thomas still plans to reach Namoni Village with the Gospel soon.

August

In August, Motivator Thomas ministered to his church family. About 112 members attended each Sunday. He is planning an outreach to Namoni Village, about 10 kms/6.2 miles away, sometime in the future. Thomas is grateful for the support that he recieves from SHARE International and asks that you pray with him for peace for the area. He also asks for prayers for strength to walk from village to village.

July

In July, Motivator Thomas ministered to the people in his home village of Lopusiki where 99 believers met weekly for services. 4 new members were added this month. Thomas asks that you join with him in praying for rain and food during this season of drought and famine.

June

In June, Motivator Thomas ministered to his church family. About 96 members attended each Sunday, and 1 new member joined.

May

In May, Motivator Thomas ministered to his church family. 131 believers attended services this month. he did an outreach in Lomilmil Village (about 20 kms/12.4 miles away) and 34 people accepted Christ. He is planning an outreach in Namoni Village (10 kms/6.2 miles away) in July. He is thankful for the support and prayers from SHARE International and asks that you pray with him for strength as he walks from village to village.
