UPDATES FROM THE FIELD:

2023

December

In December, Motivator Peter reported that the people of Naroo Village are pastoralists and farmers. There are about 142 members that attend church regularly in the mother church. The 5 Champions are each leading a Lighthouse and the 25 disciples have led 3 others to Christ in 2023. Peter either walks or hires a motorbike to travel the 10.5 miles to the daughter church on a weekly basis. The 4 Champions and the disciples there have led 5 more people to Christ in 2023.

November

In November, Motivator Peter ministered in both churches. About 24 members attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 24 attended in the daughter church in Nakuse Village. One new member joined the mother church. Peter asks you to join him in praying for the missionaries in Turkana and for those suffering from hunger.

October

In October, Motivator Peter ministered in both churches. About 30 members attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 29 attended in the daughter church in Nakuse Village. Two new members joined the mother church. Peter is thankful for God sending rain to their area.

September

In September, Motivator Peter ministered in both churches. About 34 members attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 24 attended in the daughter church in Nakuse Village. Two disciples shared their faith stories with others and led 3 of them to Christ this month. Three new members joined the mother church. He did an outreach in Lomurimudang Village and 20 people accepted Christ. He distributed 4 Audio Bibles. Peter is thankful for God’s provision.

August

In August, Motivator Peter ministered in both churches. About 37 members attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 25 attended in the daughter church in Nakuse Village. Twenty disciples shared their faith stories with others and led them to Christ this month. Three new members joined the mother church and one new members joined the daughter church. Peter is thankful for God’s provision and prays for an end to the famine.

July

In July, Motivator Peter ministered in both churches. About 44 members attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 17 attended in the daughter church in Nakuse Village. He is thankful for God’s provision this month and prays for those suffering from hunger.

June

In June, Motivator Peter ministered in both churches. About 24 members attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 16 attended in the daughter church in Nakuse Village. He prays for the church and for his child to be healed.

May

In May, Motivator Peter ministered in both churches. About 24 members attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 16 attended in the daughter church. Fifteen disciples shared their faith stories with others this month. Peter is praying for his child to be healed and for those suffering from hunger.

March

In March, Motivator Peter ministered in both churches. About 36 members attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 26 attended in the daughter church. There are now 85 disciples learning to make disciples of others. Peter is praying for much needed rain.

FEbruary

In February, Motivator Peter ministered in both churches. About 38 members attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 17 attended in the daughter church. Peter is praying for peace in the area and for much needed rain.

January

In January, Motivator Peter ministered in both churches. About 30 members attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 60 attended in the daughter church. There are 17 Champions teaching 85 disciples how to make disciples of others!

2022

December

In December, Motivator Peter reported that there are 124 members in the mother church in Naroo Village. In the daughter church in Nakululuymait there are 40 members. There are 7 Champions who are each leading their own Lighthouse where they are teaching disciples how to make disciples of others.

November

In November, Motivator Peter ministered in both churches. About 54 members attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 71 attended in the daughter church. Three new members were added to the daughter church this month.

October

In October, Motivator Peter ministered in both churches. About 56 members attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 81 attended in the daughter church. He did an outreach in Lomerimudang Village and 4 people accepted Christ when the Gospel message was shared. There are now 85 disciples attending a Lighthouse!

September

In September, Motivator Peter ministered in both churches. About 34 members attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 108 attended in the daughter church. Another 2 people accepted Christ as Savior.

August

In August, Motivator Peter ministered in both churches. About 37 members attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 84 attended in the daughter church. 3 people accepted Christ as Savior.

July

In July, Motivator Peter ministered in both churches. About 54 members attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 79 attended in the daughter church. Another 2 people accepted Christ as Savior. There are 17 Champions teaching 85 disciples how to make disciples of others.

June

In June, Motivator Peter ministered in both churches. About32 members attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 109 attended in the daughter church. Another 2 people accepted Christ as Savior, and 1 believer was baptized.

May

In May, Motivator Peter ministered in both churches. About 55 members attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 114 attended in the daughter church. Peter also shared the Gospel in Lomerimudang Village, and 2 people accepted Christ as Savior. 1 believer was baptized.

April

In April, Motivator Peter ministered in both churches. About 38 members attended each Sunday in the mother church. 4 new members were added to the daughter church this past month. There are now 85 believers being discipled in Lighthouses! Peter is grateful for the support that he receives and also for good health and asks that you pray with him for the members that are migrating.

March

In March, Motivator Peter ministered in both churches. About 35 members attended each Sunday in the mother church.

February

In February, Motivator Peter ministered to his church families. About 40 believers met weekly in the mother church for worship and teaching this month. Peter is grateful for the support that he receives from SHARE International and asks that you pray with him for more workers to share the Gospel message with others.
