2023

December

In December, Monitor Peter reported that the people of Nakiria Village make baskets, fish and sell charcoal to make a living. There are 175 members that meet regularly in the mother church. There are 3 Champions that are each leading their own Lighthouse with 23 disciples. These disciples have led 2 others to Christ in 2023. Peter has identified one more unreached village in his area. It is about 5 miles from the mother church and Peter plans to travel to this village via motorbike to hold evangelistic services in 2024.

November

In November, Monitor Peter ministered in his church in Nakiria Village, and about 75 attended each Sunday. Peter is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor and for God sustaining them spiritually. He asks you to pray with him for and end to the drought.

October

In October, Monitor Peter ministered in his church in Nakiria Village, and about 84 attended each Sunday. Six new believers joined the mother church. Peter is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor. He asks you to pray with him for God’s protection on the children as they are away at school, and for the believers that are migrating.

September

In September, Monitor Peter ministered in his church in Nakiria Village, and about 67 attended each Sunday. 2 new believers joined the mother church. Peter is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor. He asks you to pray with him for the church leaders and for the believers that are migrating.

August

In August, Monitor Peter ministered in his church in Nakiria Village, and about 90 attended each Sunday. Seven disciples shared their faith stories with others and 7 believers joined the mother church. Peter is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor and for God’s protection this month. He asks you to pray with him for strength as he walks from village to village.

July

In July, Monitor Peter ministered in his church in Nakiria Village, and about 69 attended each Sunday. Seven disciples shared their faith stories with others and 6 believers joined the mother church. He was able to distribute 4 Audio Bibles, 1 hard-copy Bible and 15 DMM Bookmarks. Peter is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor. He asks you to pray with him for relief from the drought and famine.

June

In June, Monitor Peter ministered in his church in Nakiria Village, and about 74 attended each Sunday. Peter is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor. He prays for the Turkana missionaries.

May

In May, Monitor Peter held services in the mother church. About 75 attended in the mother church. Six new members joined the mother church this month. Peter is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor. He asks that you pray with him the many that are migrating.

In April, Monitor Peter held services in the mother church. About 76 attended in the mother church. Five new members joined the mother church this month. Peter is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor and for God’s goodness. He asks that you pray with him for those suffering from the famine.

March

In March, Monitor Peter held services in the mother church. About 75 attended in the mother church. Six new members joined the mother church this month. Peter is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor and for the rains that have come. He asks that you pray with him for more needed rain and also for the families that lost their livestock as they were washed away with the rains.

In February, Monitor Peter held services in the mother church. About 66 attended in the mother church. Five new members joined the mother church this month. He was able to distribute 4 Audio Bibles, 1 Hard copy Bible and 15 DMM Bookmarks this month. 2022

December

In December, Monitor Peter reported that there are 150 members in the mother church in Nakiria Village. There are 3 Champions who are each leading their own Lighthouse where they are teaching disciples to make disciples of others. Peter plans to reach 1 more village in 2023 – Kalanyisogol!

In November, Monitor Peter ministered to his congregation, and about 101 members attended each Sunday. Six new members were added the the church this month. Peter is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor and asks that you pray with him for the many suffering because of the drought.

He asks that you join him in praying for the missionaries in Turkana God to continue being with them even as they reach more souls with the Word of God. He also asks you to join him in praying for rain for his area and also for the members of the congregation that are migrating in search of food and water.
