2023

December

In December, Motivator Josephat reported that the people of Kapelbok are pastoralists and small scale farmers. There are 134 members that meet for services each Sunday. The 3 Champions each lead a Lighthouse and the 15 disciples have led 3 people to Christ in 2023. Josephat travels to other villages either by foot or hiring a motorbike. He has identified 4 unreached villages in his area that are 4-7 miles from the mother church. He plans on reaching these villages in 2024.

NOvember

In November, Motivator Josephat ministered in the mother church, and about 16 members attended each Sunday. One new members joined the church this month. Josephat is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor. He asks that you pray with him for more people to come to Christ and for more rain.

September

In September, Motivator Josephat ministered in the mother church, and about 22 members attended each Sunday. Josephat is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor. He asks that you pray with him for peace and for the believers that are migrating.

August

In August, Motivator Josephat ministered in the mother church, and about 19 members attended each Sunday. Josephat is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor. He asks that you pray with him for strength as he walks from village to village and for rain.

July

In July, Motivator Josephat ministered in the mother church, and about 21 members attended each Sunday. Three disciples led others to Christ this month. Josephat is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor. He asks that you pray with him for strength as he walks from village to village.

June

In June, Motivator Josephat ministered in his church in Kapelibok Village, and about 16 members attended each Sunday. Two people accepted Christ as Savior. Josephat is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor. He praises God for DMM and that it has helped people understand the Word.

May

In May, Motivator Josephat ministered in the mother church, and about 18 members attended each Sunday. Two disciples led others to Christ this month. Josephat is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor. He asks that you pray with him that peace would be restored in his area and for the many suffering from the drought.

April

In April, Motivator Josephat ministered in the mother church, and about 23 members attended each Sunday. Three disciples shared their faith stories with others this month. Josephat is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor and for the rain that they have received. He asks that you pray with him for the many suffering from the drought.

March

In March, Motivator Josephat ministered in the mother church, and about 27 members attended each Sunday. Josephat is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor. He asks that you pray with him that more people would come to know Christ and for the many suffering from the drought.

February

In February, Motivator Josephat ministered in the mother church, and about 37 members attended each Sunday. When the disciples in the Lighthouses shared their faith stories, 3 people accepted Christ this month and joined the mother church. Josephat is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor and for the the gifts of life. He asks that you pray with him for peace and for much needed rain.

January

In January, Motivator Josephat ministered in the mother church, and about 36 members attended each Sunday. When the disciples in the Lighthouses shared their faith stories, 7 people accepted Christ this month. Josephat is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor and for the DMM tools, they are very helpful. He asks that you pray with him that more people would come to Christ and for much needed rain.

2022

December

In December, Motivator Josephat reported that there are 224 members in the mother church in Kapelbok Village. There are 3 Champions who each lead their own Lighthouse where they are teaching disciples how to make disciples of others. Josephat plans to reach 4 more villages in 2023 – Juluk, Naregae, Kakwat & Nakabekebeke!

November

In November, Motivator Josephat ministered in the mother church, and about 38 members attended each Sunday. Josephat is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor and for the food relief they received from SHARE this month.

October

In October, Motivator Josephat ministered in the mother church, and about 35 members attended each Sunday. 1 person accepted Christ as Savior. Josephat is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor.

September

In September, Motivator Josephat ministered in the mother church, and about 34 members attended each Sunday. He plans to reach Akabekebeke Village with the Gospel in December. Josephat is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor and for the faithfulness of God. He asks that you pray with him for strength as he walks from village to village.

August

In August, Motivator Josephat ministered in the mother church, and about 23 members attended each Sunday. Josephat is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor and asks that you pray with him for strength as he walks from village to village.

July

In July, Motivator Josephat ministered in the mother church, and about 56 members attended each Sunday. He plans to reach Nakabekebeke Village with the Gospel in September. Josephat is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor.

June

In June, Motivator Josephat ministered in the mother church, and about 19 members attended each Sunday. He plans to reach Nakabekebeke Village with the Gospel in September. Josephat is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor.

May

In May, Motivator Josephat ministered in both churches. About 26 members attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 94 attended in the daughter church. Josephat is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor and for the rain they received this month.

April

In April, Motivator Josephat ministered in both churches. About 29 members attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 17 attended in the daughter church. Josephat is grateful for the continued support from his sponsor. He prays for more grace and favor from God for his family in the church.

March

In March, Motivator Josephat ministered to his church families. About 38 believers met each week in the mother church in Kapelbok Village and 32 believers in the daughter church in Lomokomol Village. 5 new members were added to the mother church and 4 to the daughter church. He did an outreach in Ngikachol Village and 4 people accepted Christ. He is also planning an outreach in Kakwaat Village, about 10 kms/6.2 miles away, sometime in April. He is grateful for the support that he receives and asks that you pray with him for those affected by the drought and famine.

February

In February, Motivator Josephat ministered to his church families. About 25 believers met each week in the mother church in Kapelbok Village and 28 believers in the daughter church in Lomokomol Village. He is also planning an outreach in Juluk Village, about 12 kms/7.5 miles away, sometime in April. He is grateful for the support that he receives and asks that you pray with him for peace to be restored in his area and for those affected by the drought and famine.

January

In January, Motivator Josephat reported that there are 126 members in the mother church in Kapelbok Village and 32 members in the daughter church in Lomokomol Village. In addition to regular services, Josephat does homestead-to-homestead evangelism and teaches the DMM methodology.

2021
