Main Village: Korinyang
Korinyang Village has a population of 3,900 – mostly nomadic pastoralists.
The economical activities of the village are small scale farming, sale of livestock products and animals, burning of charcoal, and firewood collections.
Church Progress:
As a result of the witnessing campaign of Johnson Ewoi in Korinyang Village, approximately 29 men, 40 women, 15 youth, and 42 Sunday School children have given their lives to Christ and worship together regularly in the mother church alone.
Johnson has also planted daughter churches in the remote villages of Lotonguna, Ekoropus, and Aligoi.
Updates from the field:
November 2020
In November, Monitor Johnson ministered to all 4 of his church families and 2 other villages. He shared the Gospel in a previously unreached village, Nakebusen Village and 13 people accepted Christ. Approximately 112 attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 149 attended in the 2 daughter churches combined. Johnson has 6 Lighthouses (Disciple-Making Groups) with 36 disciples attending! He is excited that the DMM training is going well. Johnson is planning outreaches in the villages of Angarabat, Kekamuto and Nakebusen (9 miles away) in 2021.
October 2020
In October, Monitor Johnson ministered to his church family. About 153 attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 82 attended in the 2 daughter churches combined. Johnson has 6 Lighthouses (Disciple-Making Groups) with 34 disciples attending! He is excited that the DMM training is going well. He did an outreach to Aligoi Village this month and 4 people accepted Christ. 1 Audio Bible was given out, 48 printed Bibles and 8 DMM Bookmarks that are used as tools to help disciples share their faith. Johnson is planning an outreach in the villages of Kanaodon and Kagete (4, 15.5 miles away respectively) in 2021.
September 2020
In September, Monitor Johnson resumed services in all 4 churches. About 179 attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 88 attended in the 3 daughter churches combined. Johnson has started 6 Lighthouses (Disciple-Making Groups) with 39 disciples attending!
February 2020
In February, Monitor Johnson shared the Word of God, and 4 people put their faith in Christ and were baptized. He has 14 students in Discipleship Class. 115 members attended church each Sunday in the mother church, and 35 members attended in the daughter church in Lotonguna Village. He is looking at doing an outreach in the Village of Kanaodon in the future. Johnson is grateful for Share International for their support.

He has 2 students in Discipleship Class. 169 members attended church each Sunday in the mother church, and 55 members attended in the daughter church in Lotonguna Village. In November, Missionary Johnson shared the Word of God in Korinyang Village, and 7 people put their faith in Christ. He has 15 students in Discipleship Class, all of whom can freely testify to nonbelievers courageously. 210 members attended church each Sunday in the mother church, and 64 members attended in the daughter church in Lotonguna Village. Johnson and his team of 2 evangelists are planning an outreach to Kanaodon Village in the near future.

In July, Missionary Johnson shared the Word of God again with the Village of Korianyang, and 3 people accepted Christ. He is discipling a class of 7 students. 110 believers attended the Sunday services. Johnson is grateful for Share International.
June 2019
In June, Missionary Johnson shared the Word of God with the Village of Korianyang. 5 people accepted Christ, and he baptized 24 people. He is discipling a class of 21 believers. 203 believers attend the Sunday services. Johnson is grateful for Share International for making it possible for him to be a missionary and do God’s work.

April 2019
The average attendance for Sunday services for April was 173. Five new members were added this month. They did an outreach to a nearby village and two people gave their lives to Christ. There are currently 14 people attending discipleship classes this month. In the daughter church of Lotonguna around 30 people attended services. They are looking at doing an outreach to the village of Kanaodon in the near future.

Johnson is a missionary to the church in Korinyang, where the average attendance in March was 65. They have 14 people attending discipleship classes, and 7 people have been trained as evangelists/elders to help Johnson with the work there. He also pastors a church in Lotonguna, where about 60 people meet regularly for services. They added 3 new members this month. He is looking to do an outreach in the village of Kanaodon in the near future.
