    In October 2021, John Lokweyu Logile became a SHARE Motivator replacing John Eipa Lobuin who is now part of the Toposa Missionary Team. John Logile gave his life to Christ in 1990. He prays that God will continue to strengthen his faith as he devotes himself to the ministry work.


    UPDATES FROM THE FIELD:

    2023

    December

    In December, Motivator John reported that they people of Kangura Village sell charcoal and firewood for a living. The mother church here has 173 members and 3 Champions leading 3 Lighthouses. The 36 disciples have led 24 people to Christ in 2023. The daughter villages are 5 to 8.5 miles away from the mother church and John walks to these villages weekly to minister to the congregations there. In the daughter church in Nayanesikiria Village about 60 members meet and in Nayanae Elelea Village there are 45 members that meet regularly. The disciples in these villages have led 31 people to Christ in 2023. John has identified 2 more villages near him that have not been reached with the Gospel. He plans on walking to these villages, which are 12 – 15 miles away to do outreaches sometime in 2024.

    August

    In August, Motivator John held services in three churches. About 101 members attended each Sunday in the mother church. In the daughter churches there were: 61 in Nayanae Esikiriat, and 62 in Nayanae Elelea Villages. Two new members were added to the mother church this month. He did an outreach in Elelia Village and 2 people accepted Christ. John is grateful for God’s kindness toward him and he asks that you pray with him that they could have a school nearby for the children and clean water.

    July

    In July, Motivator John held services in three churches. About 96 members attended each Sunday in the mother church. In the daughter churches there were: 61 in Nayanae Esikiriat, and 62 in Nayanae Elelea Villages. Three new members were added to the mother church this month. He did an outreach in Looding Village and 3 people accepted Christ. John asks that you pray with him that they could have a school nearby for the children.

    June

    In June, Motivator John held services in four churches. About 98 members attended each Sunday in the mother church. In the daughter churches there were: 65 in Nayanae Esikiriat, 59 in Nayanae Elelea and 80 in Natukobenyo Villages. John asks that you pray with him for clean water nearby and for the missionaries in Turkana.

    May

    In May, Motivator John held services in four churches. About 98 members attended each Sunday in the mother church. In the daughter churches there were: 65 in Nayanae Esikiriat, 59 in Nayanae Elelea and 80 in Natukobenyo Villages. Three new members were added to the mother church this month. John is grateful for God’s protection and care this month. He asks that you pray with him for clean water nearby.

    In April, Motivator John held services in all 3 churches. About 94 members attended each Sunday in the mother church. In the daughter churches there were: 65 in Nayanae Esikiriat and 59 in Nayanae Elelea Villages. Two new members were added to the daughter churches this month and one to the mother church. He is grateful for the rains that have fallen and asks that you pray with him for strength as the school and the church are a distance from where he lives and they walk there every day and also for clean water.

    In March, Motivator John held services in all 3 churches. About 101 members attended each Sunday in the mother church. In the daughter churches there were: 64 in Nayanae Esikiriat and 62 in Nayanae Elelea Villages. Four new members were added to the daughter churches this month. He asks that you pray with him for strength as the school and the church are a distance from where he lives and they walk there every day and also for clean water.

    February

    In February, Motivator John held services in all 3 churches. About 92 members attended each Sunday in the mother church. He asks that you pray for Kangateiberu Village, when they visited there on Feb. 25th, there were very few people there. He asks that you pray with him for strength as the school and the church are a distance from where he lives and they walk there every day.

    January

    In January, Motivator John held services in all 3 churches. About 84 members attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 123 attended in the 2 daughter churches combined. When the Gospel message was shared in Elelia Village, 3 people accepted Christ. In the Lighthouses the disciples led 8 more people to Christ this month. He asks that you pray with him for water as animals are dying and people are suffering.


    2022

    December

    In December, Motivator John reported that there are 173 members in the mother church in Kangura Village. In the daughter churches, there are 60 members in Nayanae-Esikiria Village, and 45 in Nayanae-Elelea Village. There are 7 Champions who are each leading their own Lighthouses where they are teaching disciples how to make disciples of others. John plans to reach 2 more villages in 2023 – Kangateiberu & Lonyuduk!

    November

    In November, Motivator John held services in all 3 churches. About 59 members attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 136 attended in the 2 daughter churches combined. 7 people accepted Christ as Savior.

    October

    In October, Motivator John held services in all 3 churches. About 77 members attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 113 attended in the 2 daughter churches combined. 1 person accepted Christ as Savior.

    September

    In September, Motivator John held services in all 3 churches. About 77 members attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 112 attended in the 2 daughter churches combined. 2 people accepted Christ when the Gospel message was shared in Elelea Village.

    August

    In August, Motivator John held services in all 3 churches. About 56 members attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 136 attended in the 2 daughter churches combined. Pray for those that are migrating in search of food and water.

    July

    In July, Motivator John held services in all 3 churches. About 71 members attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 127 attended in the 2 daughter churches combined. 2 people accepted Christ when the Gospel message was shared in Esikiriait Village.

    In June, Motivator John held services in all 3 churches. About 73 members attended each Sunday in the mother church, and 117 attended in the 2 daughter churches combined. He plans to reach 2 more villages with the Gospel sometime soon.

    In March, Motivator John held services in all 3 churches, and about 86 members attended each Sunday in the mother church and 144 believers in the 2 daughter churches combined. He did an outreach in Esikiriait Village and 3 people accepted Christ. He is grateful for the support that he receives and asks that you pray with him for strength as he walks from village to village and for their church project that they have coming up.
