    November

    In November, Missionary John shared the Gospel in Loreng and Moru arengan Villages. 2 people accepted Christ as Savior. John is still training 2 believers how to start his own discipleship group. He was able to distribute 1 Audio Bible and 1 DMM Bookmark to believers. Consumption of alcohol and tobacco in these villages is a concern. John prays that God will intervene, and many users will come to know Christ.

    October

    In October, Missionary John shared the Gospel in Katongun and Nataba Villages. 1 person accepted Christ as Savior. John is still training 2 believers how to start his own discipleship group. Consumption of alcohol and tobacco in these villages is a concern. John prays that God will intervene, and many users will come to know Christ.

    September

    In September, Missionary John shared the Gospel in 2 Toposa Villages – Napusitirae and Dasha. 8 people accepted Christ as Savior. John distributed another3 Audio Bibles and 3 signage bookmarks to believers. John is training 2 believers how to start his own discipleship group. Consumption of alcohol and tobacco in these villages is a concern. John prays that God will intervene, and many users will come to know Christ.

    In June, Missionary John shared the Gospel in 2 Toposa Villages – Napusitirae and Nataaba. 2 people accepted Christ as Savior. John distributed another 5 Audio Bibles and 5 signage bookmarks to believers. John is training 1 believer how to start his own discipleship group. Consumption of alcohol and tobacco in these villages is a concern. John prays that God will intervene, and many users will come to know Christ.

    May

    In May, Missionary John shared the Gospel in 3 Toposa Villages – Napusitirae, Nataaba, and Ngibuin. The people have been welcoming and eager to hear the Word of God. 7 people accepted Christ as Savior. John distributed 10 Audio Bibles and 5 signage bookmark to believers. Consumption of alcohol and tobacco in these villages is common. John prays that God will intervene, and many users will come to know Christ.

    April

    In April, Missionary John shared the Gospel in 2 Toposa Villages – Nakwaare and Nariama-alim. The people have been welcoming and eager to hear the Word of God. 3 people accepted Christ as Savior. John distributed 5 Audio Bibles to believers. Consumption of alcohol and tobacco in these villages is common. John prays that God will intervene, and many users will come to know Christ.


    2021

    September

    In September, John and the rest of the Toposa Missionary Team traveled back to Kenya to attend driving lessons and receive their new motorbikes. The Team will head back to Toposa soon to continue with surveying, evangelizing, and establishing their mission base. John has handed off leadership of his churches in Turkanaland to a trained pastor, John Logilae Lokweyu. More information on John Lokweyu and the churches/villages he serves will be available soon.

    August

    On August 16th, John (along with 6 other missionaries) left for their new calling to minister to the people of Toposa, South Sudan. However, John’s mother church in Lochor-ekuyen Village continued to meet each Sunday with about 71 members. He is grateful for the support he receives from his sponsor. He requests prayers for God’s favor and protection in his new mission field in Toposaland and also for thanksgiving as water is now available in Lochor-ekuyen Village.

    July

    In July, Motivator John ministered to his churches. About 72 members attended services each Sunday in the mother church and 115 in the two daughter churches. He and his team plan to do an outreach in Kangagetei-ber Village (15 kms/12.4 miles away) sometime in 2021. He continues to share the Gospel in Napetan Village. He is grateful for the support that he receives from his sponsor and asks you pray for strength for him as he walks from village to village. He is gratefulf for the rains that have come in July. He has completed his paperwork that he needs for his new mission field of South Sudan. He will be leaving for his new assignment as soon as every one has completed all the necessary paperwork. 

    June

He and his team plan to do an outreach in Kangagetei-ber Village (15 kms/12.4 miles away) sometime in 2021. He did an outreach in Napetan Village and one person accepted Christ. He is grateful for the support that he receives from his sponsor and asks you pray for strength for him as he walks from village to village. He has completed his paperwork that he needs for his new mission field of South Sudan. He will be leaving for his new assignment in July. 

    May

    In May, Motivator John ministered to his churches. About 71 members attended services each Sunday in the mother church alone and 115 in the 2 daughter churches combined. He and his team plan to do an outreach in Kangagetei-ber Village (15 kms/12.4 miles away) sometime in 2021. He is grateful for the support that he receives from his sponsor and asks you pray for strength for his church as they are rebuilding their structure after strong winds tore it down. He is continuing to work on his paperwork that he needs for his new mission field of South Sudan. He will be leaving for his new assignment, hopefully by the end of June. 

    April

    In April, Motivator John ministered to his churches. About 66 members attended services each Sunday in the mother church alone and 114 in the 2 daughter churches combined. He did an outreach in Lokiding Village and 1 person placed their faith in Christ. He and his team plan to do an outreach in Kangagetei-ber Village (15 kms/12.4 miles away) sometime in 2021. He is grateful for the support that he receives from his sponsor and asks you pray for strength for his church as they are rebuilding their structure after strong winds tore it down. On April 25th, he was commissioned along with 14 other missionaries to be embassadors of the Gospel to the Toposa People of South Sudan. He will be leaving for his new assignment, hopefully by the end of June.
