    In April 2021, SHARE commissioned Anjelina along with 14 other missionaries to begin outreach to the Toposa people of South Sudan. Anjelina is originally from Toposa but had been living in Turkana, Kenya. She has served as a church treasurer, church choir leader, evangelist, and disciple-maker.


    UPDATES FROM THE FIELD:

    2023

    November

    In November, Missionary Anjelina shared the Gospel again in Lokidor, Nakiyeya and Nakwalului Villages and also returned to Narekedea Village. The people are very receptive to the Gospel and 3 women gave their lives to Christ this month. On a weekly basis she meets with believers, encouraging them to listen to their Audio Bibles join a Lighthouse near them so that they can continue to grow in their faith. She continues to train 3 Champions and meets with them weekly. There are 3 Lighthouses established in Lokidor, Nakiyeya, and Nakwalului villages with 27 disciples attending. Anjelina is grateful for the rain they have been receiving, although it is hard to reach the people as they are out in the fields working. She prays that the trained Champions and proposed Champions will grow in their faith and continue to spread the Gospel message to the people of Toposa.

    October

    In October, Missionary Anjelina shared the Gospel again in Lokidor, Nakiyeya and Nakwalului Villages and also returned to Narekedea Village. She is encouraging believers to listen to their Audio Bibles join a Lighthouse near them so that they can continue to grow in their faith. She continues to train 3 Champions and meets with them weekly. There are 3 Lighthouses established in Lokidor, Nakiyeya, and Nakwalului villages with 24 disciples attending. She distributed 8 Audio Bibles this month. Anjelina is grateful for the rain they have been receiving, although it is hard to reach the people as they are out in the fields working. She prays that the trained Champions and proposed Champions will grow in their faith and continue to spread the Gospel message to the people of Toposa.

    September

    In September, Missionary Anjelina shared the Gospel again in Lokidor, Nakiyeya and Nakwalului Villages and also reached 1 new village: Narekedea. 2 people accepted Christ when the Gospel message was shared. She is encouraging new believers to join a Lighthouse near them so that they can continue to grow in their faith. She continues to train 3 Champions and meets with them weekly. There are 3 Lighthouses established with 21 disciples attending. Anjelina is grateful for the rain they have been receiving, although it is hard to reach the people as they are out in the fields working. Challenges of the area are lack enough DMM materials to distribute to new believers.

    August

She is still training 3 believers to become leaders of their own Lighthouse. She meets with them weekly. She now has 3 established Lighthouses in 3 villages with 21 disciples attending. She is grateful for the rain they have been receiving, although it is hard to reach the people as they are out in the fields working. Challenges are lack enough DMM materials to distribute to new believers.

    May

    In May, Missionary Anjelina shared the Gospel again in Nakiyeya Village and also reached 2 new villages: Nakwalili and Lokidor. 5 people accepted Christ as Savior. She is still training 3 believers to become leaders of their own Lighthouse. She meets with them weekly. She was able to distribute 12 Audio Bibles and 3 DMM signage bookmarks. She is grateful for the rain they have been receiving, although it is hard to reach the people as they are out in the fields working. Challenges of the area are lack enough DMM materials to distribute to new believers.

    In April, Missionary Anjelina shared the Gospel in Lokidor Village. She is still training 3 believers to become leaders of their own Lighthouse and 2 Lighthouses have been established this month. She meets with the group weekly. She is grateful for SHARE International and the support of the outreach to the Toposa people. Challenges of the area are lack enough DMM materials to distribute to new believers.
