WEEK OF JULY 6th, 2020

ImageThe young women of Nayada Zone are between the ages of 12 and 24. Many of them conduct their own small business, such as making jewelry and weaving baskets. They were once forced to marry older men at a very young age, but now most of them understand that they have a choice.
Before the COVID-19 pandemic, there were 2,400 young women regularly attending the Share-planted churches throughout the Zone. Even though believers are not able to congregate at this time, these young women continue to grow in their faith. They have learned how to read and/or listen to the Word of God and pray on their own.
There are 12 Young Women’s Lighthouses throughout the Zone, with 132 disciples who are learning how to share their personal testimonies and make disciples of others. So far, 20 of these young disciples have led others to faith in Christ! Ms. Alice Arot is one of them. Before she knew Christ, she was drinking alcohol at a very young age. Now she has been renewed. She is only 21 years old and has led 5 people to a saving faith in Christ. Watch the video below to hear a brief message from Alice.
