Praises & Petitions from Turkanaland: Week 10
WEEK OF AUGUST 3rd, 2020
Unfortunately, witchcraft is a common practice among many Turkana people, especially in remote villages. As Share Motivators and disciples continue to spread the Gospel, more and more witchcraft devotees, and even witchdoctors, are realizing that their ways are evil and turning to Christ! Watch the video below to hear from two ex-witchdoctors who have have turned to Christ and become disciple-makers in their communities. Pray with us that the Lord will put an end to witchcraft.
- A total of 28 coronavirus cases have been reported in Turkanaland. Pray that the Lord will stop the spread.
- God’s favor upon Share’s Motivators as they seek more souls for His Kingdom
- Due to school closures in Kenya, over 4,300 teenage girls in Turkanaland have been impregnated. Pray that God will intervene.
- Peace between Turkana and the Jiye of Uganda
