A brief message from Sammy Murimi regarding Turkana and Share International’s response to COVID-19
Share is taking necessary precautions to prevent the potential spread of COVID-19 to the remote villages of Turkanaland, where there is poor hygiene and little to no healthcare. As we pray and seek God’s guidance, we are discouraging large group meetings and have halted making trips to reached and unreached villages until further notice. We have advised our staff not to travel to Nairobi or other large cities and to limit interaction with foreigners. Instead, we are asking them to use technology to communicate with the remote leaders and allow the Discipleship Methods that we have taught take hold without direct oversight.
